Black Militant groups like the Black Panthers and extreme Muslim groups have infiltrated BLM. Only a matter of time and we will see the proof. What started out as a peaceful protesting group will evolve into a larger, more unified, militant group that promotes vial murders, death to white people, death to cops, and racial violence.

Non violent protest is what Martin Luther King Jr lost his life believing in. Atrocities are to be found all over the planet. It's not exclusive to American history. Look at modern day Rwanda, Somalia, etc...killing is not justified unless it's in self defense as a last resort. Slavery was wrong, Jim Crow oppression was wrong. For every angry citizen victimized by senseless crimes, there are way more examples of peaceful negotiation and cooperation. What I don't understand is why discussions about these acts of stupidity and bigotry are causing folks here to draw lines in the sand and demand someone take a side. In America you have a choice to relocate if you're in a bad neighborhood or under the watch of racist powers. The Romans and Egyptians had white slaves and black slaves. If a minority in any society is being unfairly treated, there are peaceful ways to confront their adversaries in this country. We've made some great progress addressing inequalities and civil rights but if every time there's an injustice fueled by murder, it sets us back. Being loudest doesn't make you right but the jerks in a crowd are unfortunately the ones you remember after a day on the job.
