You compared Simmons to a serial rapist killer cannibal (literally) and someone who intentionally tried to injure players. No fuck THAT bullshit. Its a trash hyperbolic statement and absolutely batshit insane. Period.
 
Boston has too many PFs....they've agreed to find a place where old man Paul Milsap can play ...he's behind Griffin and Aldridge on their bench...we could probably trade a pack of gum for him....or dump some salary and rent him for the rest of the season...our bigs are having trouble staying on the court so far.

He did choose his employer when he signed an extension with Philly. I don’t have a problem with him wanting out, but he does deserve some shit for holding out.

Chauncey loves Nurk. He has since got hired. He's not gonna wanna let Nurk go. And we shouldn't either. If he's been used properly, he can be one of the best at his position. Chances are we won't be adding a center nearly as good as him. And don't bring up mediocre Myles Turner.

And he has a coach that loves him too. They'll sell him on staying. He just wants to feel like he's wanted and I'm betting he's feeling that way with all this opportunity and usage.

We get worse on defense. I wouldn't put my resources towards getting better at center, when the position is practically the least important it's ever been. You aren't going to do much better than Nurk honestly.

billups consistently talks up three players: Nurk, Nas, and Ant. I think they’re all his projects in different ways. And he’s getting the best out of all of them. Can’t see him signing off on trading any of them unless it lands us some superstar.

The situation changed. So does his commitment to being there. Just like any worker/employer relationship. I don't love how he handled it either but I'm glad he did if it results in the Blazers getting him.

I think Ant is out of reach for teams now so the last ask is Nassir I'm betting. He hasn't exploded yet so teams are asking him to be thrown in. Him with Ben Simmons or Siakam makes me giddy.

Hey just to clarify, when I said “I’d rather cheer for Hannibal Lecter than Ben Simmons” I didn’t really mean the Portland Trailblazers basketball team was thinking of signing the movie character who eats people. I just wanted to make sure that was clear. It confused another poster who is quite upset that I dislike Simmons that much and prefer the guy who wears a metal cage around his face because he eats people. Thanks.

mercury retrograde....My bad for that portion I legit read that as Jeffery Dahmer. Im guessing probably because of that “if we run out of food we still have each other meme” where people use both interchangeably. Yes that takes it down several notches. My bad.

Lambier is infinitely worse than Simmons character wise and its not close. That whole rant was absurd regardless of my mix up and your Simmons hate is unparalleled despite many here hating on him.

So what he deserves additional penalties beyond losing tens of millions? Mmmkay. Your Simmons hate is off the chain. Most of the media and the entirety of Philadelphia hate on the man nonstop. He's more than paid for his “sins”.

I hope he comes here more than ever just to spite you and so that you have to choose between “sticking with your guns” or rooting for the team. Then it will be all the more sweet when Dame and Simmons light up the league and you’re forced to eat crow.

chauncey is from denver and nurk was playing there and thats how they know each other, he was talking in superlative about nurk in his introductory press and nurk was excited about chauncey being our new head coach

Maybe if you did it less often it wouldn't be so annoying, but I feel like I could go yo any trade or Simmons thread and there would always be multiple comments from you on how much Simmons sucks. Some of us want to talk about ways he would improve our team. You’re always about loyalty if not paid servitude to the owner. Like once you sign the contract they own you. Most haters don't feel the need to repeat themselves for the 5,000th time with the same critique most just go whatever and move on.

Im almost as excited to see him on the team because of how it would make you look on the forum after all of this as I am with his superb fit and skill set next to dame. Addressing our biggest weaknesses (perimeter defense and yes a scoring slasher and secondary ball-handler), getting dame a second star not only in his prime but young enough to fit next to Simons and Nas if we still have them would be pure gold and would resurrect this team.

Your one, maybe two, note critique, can’t shoot and “not loyal to the people who shredded him publicly (not to mention his no fault of his own bad fit with Embiid)” is beyond old.

at this point despite position Id rather trade Nas than Ant. Its clear to me Ant has star potential. Im a huge Nas supporter and think he could become a star, but Ant has shown the potential now clearly. Im still waiting for a consistent break out from Nas. I love the kid, but for Simmons I’d do it. I don't think I would do CJ plus Ant for Simmons.

Yeah I think maybe you’re a bit overstating things unsurprisingly but carry on. Exaggerating a ton but to be expected. I don’t even feel like I post much about him. Since you are so upset about this and think it’s out of control maybe count up my posts vs others
