The Sacramento Kings organization has a current mindset: They are not trading guard De’Aaron Fox, sources tell The Athletic. The Kings remain active in trade conversations, informing teams in the marketplace that they want to build around Fox and second-year guard Tyrese Haliburton, sources said. The Kings have informed Fox and his representation, agent Chris Gaston of Family First Sports, that they do not want to trade him and want to center the team around him and Haliburton.

Team sources said any potential deal around Fox for Pacers center Domantas Sabonis will not happen.

If you could get 2 1sts + the trade exception from NOP for Norman. Attach the 2 1sts + our 2022 2nd with CJ + McLemore for Simmons as our highest offer (for the deadline).
If we get Simmons, we have to seriously consider sitting him the rest of the year with Dame to get the highest pick possible.

Trading Covington and Nurkic will get you assets as well. Add whatever returns you can get to Dame + Ant + Nas + Ben + our high lotto pick.

One of the only scenarios where I want to see what this team can do. I think play-off experience of Lillard + Simmons is strongly worth considering. We also need to see what we can do to break the obvious hack a Ben strategy. So I think were we to get Simmons, especially if we could keep Nas and Ant somehow, I want to see what that team can do. I also think sitting Simmons for no reason would be a hard sell.
