Does Ben McLemore have trade value? Can we extract anything more than a 2nd round pick? He's gonna get buried once Powell comes back.

Unfortunate that he doesn't make more $ to bring back anything of value player wise, but he's having a great season.

9pts, 41% from 3 on nearly 6 attempts a game. 61% TS all in just 17 mpg. A team like Cleveland/Chicago/Boston could desperately use his shooting.

i've seen you repeat this, so I have to correct you. Rich Paul is not James Harden's agent. Harden used to be represented by Wasserman, and more recently his close friend who is now an authorized agent. He has absolutely n0 Klutch connections and never has.

Thanks for the correction, I thought I had heard on a sport talk show recently that he was now represented by him.
 
at this point, even if CJ + was the best offer, I'd think Morey would refuse just so he won't look like even more of a fool then he already does
 
Hollinger put out a piece today and beyond his dumb idea of the blazers trading Lillard he did bring up the obvious issue. Easiest most logical move is still to trade one of CJ/Powell and dip the tax at the same time.


Beyond getting under the tax, Portland doesn’t need to do anything rash in the short term. Cronin can ride this baby out and see where it leads in the spring. But in any time frame beyond this season, having four small guards making nearly the entire salary cap between them makes absolutely no sense. With Lillard at $42 million, McCollum at $33 million, Powell at $17 million and Simons at, say, $20 million, that’s where we’re headed.

idk anything about Hawks Squawk (though it's a cool name), but I don't why we would keep both CJ and Powell past the deadline.
