Philly fan is often much more emotional and much less realistic. Some seriously passionate fans though.

Chad Ford was going on and on a couple years ago about the Blazers wanting RJ Hampton only for them to trade the pick lol he knows fuck all

Agree on the Jones part. 50/50 on the CJ to Pels part. They badly need a bucket getter and 3-pt shooter, which CJ is. They also need to do something to improve their roster to at least attempt to get Zion to stay.
There are cheaper and younger. The only teams likely to be seriously tempted by CJ are contenders who want one extra scorer and have an obscene contract to dump. Cleveland looked good until Kevin Love started playing really well again. Brooklyn maybe, although they'll be motivated by convincing Harden to stay and he might not like CJ taking some of his shots.

Here are some of the top PF/SF in the league based on RAPTOR. See anyone ya like?

More complex, much less likely version of my "Norm/CJ for Grant/Collins" wish. Only possible if Hawks think 2 firsts is good compensation for Collins.

it pisses me off that GS managed to get a rejuvenated Porter Jr. for the minimum.
Just shows location and contendership matters. We have to overpay free agents to have them look at us more often than not. The majority of players don't look at Portland with enthusiasm.

Not to be picky but I don't know if Detroit would feel they were getting enough in this one. As far as the Hawks are concerned Hayes probably doesn't make much of a difference but Nance is a solid role playing starting PF so a solid starter at the same position they're giving up and 2 firsts seems very fair.

I just realized there are three Porter Jr.s in the league Otto who you're talking about, Michael who is currently injured and Kevin who I'm pretty sure has attitude problems or something. At any rate that's a lot of Porter Jr.s.

Pick away. I personally think Norm for Grant straight up is fair, but what more do you think would need to be added to it to make it work for them? Maybe send Hayes their way instead of to Atlanta?

What do you think of how Lillard, McCollum and Jusuf Nurkic have been as a trio when they’ve all been healthy?

Together, we’ve won a lot of games. Nurk is entering his prime. Dame and CJ are in their primes. Those are three high-level players. When we put the right pieces around them, we’ve shown that we can be very competitive.

cj is here to stay as strange as it may seem to me. look for a terrible year next season

Anything where we get OG, Herbster and a couple 1st round picks....I'm quite happy with. Please wish this into existence.

I don’t even think that trade is too far fetched or unbalanced. Its fair its just complicated and thats why its unlikely.

Well, it's not that I think that your trade is all that unfair especially because they have Bey who plays both forward spots. I just think they look at Grant as the big signing that they landed and their guy that was on the Olympic team so even though he's a role player and not a big star they might view him as more of one. I do think Hayes going there in that trade would make a difference because Hayes has a slight frame, a lot of length and can shoot from outside while they really like Stewart who is short, has a huge wingspan and really eats up a lot of space in the post and doesn't really venture out to the perimeter.

Less so--I doubt Jake Fischer would take Chad's questions
got a few seconds with Fischer today on his call. He hasn't had much insight into the Blazers in the past few weeks, but it seemed like he has a more clear idea now.

-we've been offering Powell for Grant, but that move doesn't help us duck the tax by itself. Detroit has some interest in Norm.
- A CJ for Grant deal is also possibility, but Detroit would have to send more $ back. Not sure Pistons are that much interested in CJ as they would be in Powell.
-Covington is almost for sure getting moved.
-Ducking tax is a primary goal. If no other bigger moves happen, we're at least going to do that.

idk if that’s a good or bad proposal but it’s not the worst one I’ve seen on here so congrats!
I'll take it!!

TBH, I really like the thought of rolling next year with a lineup of Dame/Nas/Grant/Collins/Nurk with Ant/Hart/FRP/MLE/Watford backing them up. Sounds like a balanced, talented, versatile roster to me.

Course, that FRP wouldn't be guaranteed, since a Simons/Hart/Grant/Collins/Nurk lineup isn't really all that built to tank. Maybe the lack of chemistry would make them really clunky?
