The EBEC is worth more today, than it is much later. But what Joe is willing to bring in to take up the cap space with what is available, is slim picking as of now. A couple of targets, but whether those come to fruition, is beyond his control right now.

Is there anything on the table?

Really don't like they way anyone is acting in the Harden Simmons Morey Philly Brooklyn thing.

Harden is trying to force his way from one MVP teammate to another, plays shitty defense, and is out of shape.
Simmons is not playing basketball, appears mentally weak, and won't work on shooting
Morey is a total hypocrite, on the one hand demanding Simmons needs to honor his contract, on the other hand trying to get players like Harden under contract to force their way out
Brooklyn enabled these stars to run their circus. Pushing for stupid moves such as DeAndre Jordan instead of Jarret Allen.

Durant can kiss my ass... jumping to a 73 win team, then trying to build another super team. Wouldn't be shocked if he tried to demand a trade soon too.
Irving is obviously a flat earth believing vaccine denying idiot.

I like Embiid and Seth Curry. The rest can eat shit.

Discussions....but Joe has little leverage other than the value of Bled's contract being at his highest right now. He is willing (obviously) to make a move, but there are better options out there for most of the options he would like to acquire. A bit of a waiting game.

I'm trying to find avenues to facilitate a Harden to Philly deal by taking on Ben into space. Just can't figure out any ideas.

We don't have any contracts large enough, nor can we combine trade exceptions.

If Simmons were to happen for Portland, it would more likely be this summer after BRK and PHI failed to work something out today. We really don't have the assets to make it happen today unless BRK basically just gives up. We will be in a better situation as cap relief to create enough space for PHI if Harden opts out this summer.

I can’t say say specifics, but I was told it’s ok to say Blazers discussing a couple of different things (buying mode)

Yes, my sources also told me that people in front offices around the league are very active today and that trades may or may not get done. Hold on to your shorts, everyone. Or don’t. It’s your choice.

Unless we can dump both Ingles and Bledsoe contracts to teams with large enough trade exceptions, we can't open up the capspace to absorb Ben's deal completely today.

That LA deal we did last Friday was really hastily done. No need for that. I'd rather have had Roco/Powell contracts to play with today.

Awesome. The more people with sources the better

Clipps love former Blazer wings. Hood, RoCo and Powell in one trade deadline.
