Facts, not opinion.
I guess if you don't classify softball as baseball then you may be kind of correct. I personally consider softball an extension of baseball and there are hundreds of games every weekend. Not sure exactly what you mean by sanctioned? Pick up games are everywhere and the leagues that are in town will let pretty much anyone join in on any given game.Bro if it’s not a sanctioned league game there are NO kids playing baseball at a park. Nowhere in Portland at least. Soccer, basketball, football….everywhere everyday.
You think because I don’t like baseball I’m claiming I don’t see kids in the park playing it? Flat out no kids in Portland are playing the game anymore man. Every park you drive by in the summer there is soccer and basketball pick ups constantly. Occasionally football…..I have NEVER seen kids playing baseball here in town if it’s non team related. No pick up baseball games ANYWHERE bro.
One of the best games ever! Especially for a Guards fan like me! Unfortunately tonight we will be starting a very bad pitcher who hasn't pitched for a long time. Most likely be a bullpen game.Imagine watching that NY/Clev game last night and thinking it is boring!
Thats actually really funny. It took me about 15 seconds to realize who you were talking about. #BAMThat KFC guy who “doesn’t care about baseball” has 11 of the 34 posts. Sigh…
No leagues or schools. Straight up kids grabbing a bat and ball and meeting friends at the park. I have not seen this in 30 years.I guess if you don't classify softball as baseball then you may be kind of correct. But soccer and basketball can survive our slums? That's because they don't want to get shot!
You’re one of those? You should be banned for posting this.
What about the 199 games they played this season leading up to this game?Imagine watching that NY/Clev game last night and thinking it is boring!
Bravo on upping your post count here in this thread! Keep the baseball thread at the top of the board! So I came here and wanted to share that I saw on IG last night the Japanese guy that plays for the Dodgers…..Ichiro?……. Had a home run in the first inning. So I set the rest of the game to record so I could watch his other plate appearances. Skipped ahead to his other times with the bat. Most baseball I’ve watched in years…..beside working it. Dodgers look tough!
I was all set to like this post and then you had to mention the dirty ucks! Yea the future looks good for Cleveland, including my guy Manzardo (GO COUGS), but this series doesn't look to be the one for them. Progressive Field will always have a special place in my heart though, watching the Cubs celebrate there in 2016 is still a little surreal! One of the best games ever! No matter what happens I will always love this team. Still the youngest team in baseball. 3 rookie relievers pitched for them last night and two rookies drove in 4 of 7 runs.
I will have Ducks on TV and Guards on my laptop this evening! Watch the second half of the Blazers.
They do for softball but it might not be just kids.No leagues or schools. Straight up kids grabbing a bat and ball and meeting friends at the park. I have not seen this in 30 years.
