When I see this, I agree with the guy who said NBA (and ESPN) are trying to promote Yang for commercial reasons. He has done a lot of good things but his performances are not 3rd best. What about Sarr? What about Richardson? And I have no idea how many others. I do know that the guy drafted right behind him has similar stats. Beringer 11-8-1-6 (blocks) 7-1-3-1. TOs 1 to Yang's 8. more efficient with his baskets. 7 for 9 to Yang's 7 for 15.

Yeah, that’s my son with a Blizzard. We got a different flavor each day. Mint M&M is my favorite.

We’re headed back to Portland tomorrow. We caught both Blazers games, plus got in about 15 hours of additional games over 3 days. My ass is sore. (What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.)

Oregon's guy starts for Houston summer league, two minutes in makes a nice dunk, then injured on the next play.

Knueppel had a nice game; in 26 minutes, 16 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and a steal and a block.

Nique Clifford 19 points on 7 for 8 shooting but 5 turnovers.

Bronny James actually had a decent game. 17 points on 6 for 10 shooting, 5 assists, 5 rebounds in 24 minutes.

Does summer league or G league have a higher level of play?

G-League by FAR! These dudes in summer league WISH they could get in the G-League. 90% of these dudes are about 60 days away from playing “professionally” in Finland or Poland!

This is exactly why you can’t take a single thing away, good or bad, from summer league play!

I'd say you can't definitively take away a judgement on a single player.

But there's certainly things you can take away. You can see how players move and the skills they can display. Doesn't mean guys who play well wont suck in the NBA or the other way around.

Was rewatching footage again and saw Chauncey’s interview during game 1.

Anyone else read into his comments about Holiday?

Something along the lines of how “he can still play” and “he’s not being brought in just to be an assistant coach.”
But what really caught me was “who better to raise” Scoot and Shae. These comments were made after Dame hit the FA market. Billups was speaking a lot about defense, and Jrue is definitely a great fit for that role with these guys.
