It is possible that he is on the line but it just can't be made out clearly so....

Legit first post! That's the shot - and it was a legit 3 pointer. Thank you for posting.

Too bad it's that camera angle... it does look like his right foot is on the line, but it's not definitive.

I do like the ref though, he put his hand up 3 times... he wanted it to be a 3 so bad... makes me question if it was. ;)

Well, prior to seeing that replay, I was pretty sure in my head that it was a 2 but that looks pretty much like a 3 to me. Especially if they initially called it a 3, that video isn't anything near what you'd need as overwhelming proof to reverse it. Unless there's a sideline angle that clearly shows differently - that looks like a legit 3 to me.

What are you talking about? Before he lets it go his right foot drifts forward; it's clearly a two.

That's funny... I watched it 4 times and each time it -looks- like his foot is on the line. But it's not definitively and looks can be deceiving. Sideline is the best way... and maybe someone has it? Though, if it is a 2, they probably burned the footage already to "uphold the NBA integrity"

You can't tell where his feet are on the ground prior to when he jumps forward and lets it go. I would guess by the video, it's a 3, but doesn't really matter. Ancient history.

True... but look at his right foot... you can clearly see that and where the 3 line is... and it looks like he has half a shoe on it.

But it's a horrible angle, and we needed to make one free throw.

That sideline angle we all are clamoring for . . . the ref had it since he was standing about 10 feet away right on that sideline. So all conspiracy theories aside, if he called it a 3 from there, then that video isn't what you'd need to overturn the call. And what if the NBA released a statement today stating that it was a 2, then what? We replay the game? I don't think so . . . and, as I said in a different thread, changing that to a 2 changes everything that happens afterwards as strategies would've changed on both sides based on the score being different.

They may have....but Barrett gets calls wrong quite often. I would still like to see it though. Hopefully someone can find it and post it.
Mike and Mike go on vacation after round 1. These were national guys.

I dunno... Refs have gotten 3's wrong quite a bit.

They also win if Lillard makes 1 of his 2 technical FT's, or Aminu makes one more shot, or Curry misses one more shot. Calls are missed all game long. Play better

Part of me agrees with this. However, I have apparently become a conspiracy theorist, and it sure seems like the refs were managing the game. Under those conditions, making a few extra FTs doesn't change the outcome.

That, I know and am well aware of. I guess my point is, do the basketball gods make you give Livingston an And 1 just prior to his techs if we take 1 point off the board for this supposed 3 by Klay? Plenty of other examples of things that could've gone another way and changed outcome of the game.

Fair enough. We're "arguing" over something that, in the end, doesn't mean anything.

Klay wasnt in the corner, he was on the same side of the court, but more out towards the top of the arc....not sure who was guarding, I just remember Klay stepping in before he took the shot, and I said that's a two before they even scored it, then the analyst said it was a two, but they gave him 3, and the anylyst suddenly got quiet

It's going to be hard to find in the highlights, the NBA won't want to show it

I remember that too. I wanna say CJ had gotten switched on him, but it's all a blur.

this video here shows all 5 of his 3 pointers made. which one are you referring to?

I definitely must have misremembered. The shot at 36 seconds in is the one that looks like a 2; the shot with Crabbe on him was legit.

I'm fairly sure you linked to the correct one originally b/c it was about mid way through the 3rd quarter and we had a 10 point lead at the time of the suspect shot. I was thinking to myself that the lead should be at 8 points after what I perceived to be a 2 pointer but the score on the screen reflected a 3 pointer, resulting in a 7 point lead. So for me, that was the one in question. There's no other 2/3 pointer in your second link that's even questionable.
