This.

Were not winnjng it all anyhow and have the excuse of cj going down if we slip and get bounced in the first round.

Lets see what we hsve in this kid.

Just stability then.
Hopefully he'll be good to go in a week or two.

I know it's not funny but I pictured about 87 of us simultaneously googling what the fuck a popliteous sprain is and laughed out loud.

Seriously I've never heard of that.

Yep

Per Woj....

C.J. McCollum has a strained popliteus in his left knee and will be re-evaluated in a week, per Adrian Wojnarowski.

Ive seen everything from 3-5 days to 2-6 weeks. Seems to depend a lot on how bad the strain is. One thing that seems common though is people say that coming back early causes it to happen again.
Okay then, lets not pull a Brandon Roy (bring him back too soon) and let him rest until the playoffs (or close to).

Wow thank god! Looks like couple of weeks of rest should do him good with cj returning the last couple games to get ready for the playoffs

There is a huge difference between people who want to trade CJ, people who want CJ to use his skills more as a playmaker than a scorer, and a small percentage that just want him gone.

Please don't lump all 3 together. I'm guessing even the group that firmly wants CJ off the team didn't want him injured after the trade deadline and possibly killing his value this summer. The Blazers haven't had to deal with many serious injuries lately so this one would be pretty devastating.

There were several posts by some that claimed CJ was one of the worst players on the team. I'm sure that's who they are referencing.

That's encouraging. Steph Curry had an MCL sprain and he missed 15 days before back on the floor playing.

If just a 1grade he will probably be back in couple weeks
If it is Grade 2 3 to 6 weeks
Grade 3 3 to 6 months

Yes, that "several" would be the small percentage I referenced in my post. I find it hard to believe anyone would have wanted to just cut him or for him to get injured.

Neither do I. Did someone say that?
