Crown it already, the best superhero movie ever made. Christian Bale = god, Christopher Nolan = god, supporting cast = god, and Heath Ledger as Joker = god and > Jack Nicholson.

I gotta admit it looks pretty sick. Have you seen the 6 minute bank-robbery footage that's been released on the web?

I've been avoiding it because I don't want any spoilers...will it spoil anything?

I watched I Am Legend just to see that footage in Imax. I cannot wait. This movie will be friggin' incredible. I'm so glad Nolan has done justice to probably the best comic. And Heath Ledger's doing the Joker properly (no offense to Jack because he did good, but the Joker is way scarier and more dangerous than that).

That bank scene was something else! Awesome!

The Nolan Batman's are such a breath of fresh air after having to deal with the sell-out films populated with Clooney and Arnold. I wouldn't mind seeing him take a darker view of other superhero films, even if it may not fit the traditional mold of the character (Batman was always a 'dark' story). For instance, and I'm just throwing this out there, but a Captain America set in realistic/dark/grimy times would be pretty interesting.

He should've done the Punisher. I was absolutely heartbroken after seeing how they butchered that movie.

They're re-making another Punisher movie, I've got no hopes for it...yet.

Chutney is spot on though, Nolan is perfect for Punisher

Am I the only one who feels that American Psycho was Christian Bale's unofficial try-out for Bruce Wayne?

Nope, I felt that, too.

I'm telling you, there isn't an actor in the world that I would pick over Christian Bale to play the Billionaire playboy role, he nails it spot on. His Bruce Wayne, imo, is slightly better than his Batman.

I can't wait for this movie at all. I've seen teaser trailers for it at the last couple of movies I've been to and it looks amazing. However, I can't crown Heath Ledger as the best Joker since I haven't seen it. And quite frankly, he's got some tremendous shoes to fill because Jack was absolutely brilliant as the Joker and it's very difficult for me to envision anyone else playing it until they top his performance.

I can't wait for this either...I'm watching the trailer every week just to hold me over...

Well last movie Ever for Ledger. Lets all hope he goes out on a high. oops

I have not seen the trailer yet.

Nolan > T. Burton.

They should have gotten R. Donner (Lethal Weapon) initially. TB was dark yet too quirky. Schumacher nearly destroyed the franchise. Nipples on the batsuit... Why not just get Adam West instead of George or Val.

I enjoyed the Punisher movie was okay. The comic books just never did anything for movie. The movie at least had a sense of humor. I enjoyed Ghost Rider (movie) but found the comics too pretentious and supernatural.

I'd like to see Kevin 'Silent Bob' Smith get a Superhero movie to direct. He was up for Superman returns. He could not have done any worse than the goober that did it.

There is a remake/redo of Hulk coming out 6/13 with Edward Norton.

I was never a big fan of the Hulk, but the latest movie just completely killed it. And what idiot thought Eric Bana was perfect for the role. I personally thought he was terrible.

That movie was so funny. I remember I was so excited about the Hulk when it first came out (I love superhero stuff, no idea why) but then I went to see the move and saw little Hulk hopping around like a bunny rabit, and I was like wtf?

You nailed it.

He is a little campy with his raspy "Batman" voice. I rolled my eyes a few times at his delivery.

But his Bruce Wayne is so perfect, it doesn't matter.

This movie was so eerie with the new and deranged version of the Joker. That mystique has now increased with Ledger's odd death. I am pumped for this movie and it looks to be a box office smash.

Keaton had the best Batman voice IMO. His Bruce Wayne had moments. Bale, though, is the best all around.

The part in Batman Begins w/ the European chicks and buying the hotel was classic Bruce Wayne.

I just saw some clips of TDK on Countdown as they were talking about the Ledger tragedy and holy shizzle... I can't wait.

Idunno, man. I have the graphic novel of the series they based the majority of that movie from (the "Welcome Back, Frank" series) and I thought they re-did a couple memorable scenes, but skimmed through the majority of the plot and totally missed the atmosphere/mood you get from the comics. It should've been a lot darker, they needed to do a better job of building up his family's death (I didn't feel enough of an attachment to truly empathize), and the villains needed to be more heartless (casting Travolta was a mistake). But most of all, the comics really convey how much of an uphill battle it is for the Punisher, whereas you never felt that sense of desperation/hopelessness in the film.

Also, they screwed up royally by not including the zoo scene. That was friggin' awesome in the comics.
