For it big time. Of course i'm from Texas, which sentences more ppl to the death penalty than any other state. Also, they put alot of ppl to death. Most ppl that get the death penelty deserve the sentence that they get. Plus, keepin the alive takes alot of tax dollars.

I think it will do the criminal good to rot in prison for life. There is also that slim chance they can turn there life around.

I don't really know. I guess I look at it on a case-by-case basis, but I would be willing to support the death penalty.I'm also in Texas... Harris county to be exact, and our county alone supposedly sentences more people to death than most states in the country.

I'm against it, I think that life in prison is worse, and as Tony said it gives the criminal a chance to redeem himself.

The death penalty is a waste of money (it costs millions to send someone to death through courts, appeals, etc...etc...) Not to mention I don't think our goverment/courts should have the right to legally kill people. It's ridiculous, let them rot.

I am against it. Having someone suffer for life in prison is much harsh then just giving them an easy escape.

I'am against it,but not for the suffering part.I think people should be gaven a second chance and should not be killed right away.America has the most people in prison in the world, and they say we are the land of the free?

for it. you kill someone else, you should pay the price. that means death bi*ch

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>I'm against it, I think that life in prison is worse, and as Tony said it gives the criminal a chance to redeem himself.</div>Most criminals spend quite a few years in prison. Timmothy McVay(Oklahoma City Bombing fucker :aggressive: ) was in jail for about 8 years before they exicuted him

I'm against the Death Penalty!

I'm Against it for sure.EDIT: I pressed the Fast Reply botton to may times sorry.

I don't think the government has the right to end someone's life, that's the bottom line for me.

They have the right to go to war and the right to make you rot in prison but they don't have the right to kill someone? I don't think that person who murdered and raped 3 teenage girls had the right do to that, either.

So Wolf, you were in a hood and you happened to get shot and you happen to have a loaded gun,you fight back in self defense and you kill him.Now where in the hood so there is no proof you did it in self defense so do you deserve to die?

Well, you have to make sure there is no doubt that the man is guilty, obviously.

Death Penalty. I'm against it. If someone kills someone, it's just as bad for the government to kill him. Let him have life in prison. And also, life in prison isn't so bad. I mean think about it, full meals (even though they suck), great work outs and excercise, and get closer to God and be more religous. I think you can also maybe if you train hard and become strong in prison, in about 10 years maybe some Police or Intelligence agency can take you out if you show promise.

Wolf I have heard many stories of people who have gone to jail for having done nothing, you don't know the situation they come from,I mean if everyone in your neighberhood does pot theres a chance you will to.

There are extreme cases for everything. I'm sure I could pull out a story where a 4 time convicted rapist escapes from prison.

I don't understand why you want people dead.Look at Malcom X,he stole, killed and did many bad things but he was gaven a second chance and is now known for helping to stop racism.

im against the way they kill. they should just put them on a bomb testing ground and hitem hit a missle instead of wasting millions of dollars on a tablespoon of poison.

I take things too personally so I am not the guy who should be making decisions on who lives and who doesn't. It is one of my weaknesses.

It costs money to keep people in jail, that money comes from tax payers. If someone commits murder they should be killed in my opinion. Unless it's self-defense obviously. Why let someone live when the crime they comitted ended somebody else's life?

Because it costs millions more of our tax dollars to put someone through execution, it costs less to keep them in prison for life.

We don'r rape rapists, we don't need to kill murderers. It's a cliche, but that makes you no better than them. Life in prison is hell, I think that's enough of a punishment.
