She went on to talk about how she was raised middle class and realizes it’s important to have a healthy middle class in our country. Then outlined what she proposed to make the middle class stronger.

Keep up…
Yea I listened and she didn't answer the question ... sure a strong middle class is important, but are we better off than we were four years ago, she failed to answer the basic question in front of her. I kept up, I listened to what came out of her mouth and she dodged the point blank question. You can say Trump did the same thing and I won't disagree, but she started rambling about her '2nd mom' that owned a business and wants to have tax break for new businesses but she didn't answer the basic question and tell us why we are better off. What is better about the economy than it was four years ago.

Well, my retirement accounts made more in the past year than they did in 4 years of Trump World. The stock market is currently at levels Trump could only dream of. The inflation that was instigated by the Trump Administration (and admittedly juiced by Biden) is finally on the wane, with interest rates already starting to come down. All that right there says we're better off than we were four years ago. Pretty damn hard to ignore.

So she didn't answer the question.
Yes she answered it earlier when talking about what they inherited at the peak of the pandemic and how they turned the economy around from a global disaster to a functioning country again. Biden has done a brilliant job since 2020 with the economy. She clearly stated several times how much better off we are now than with Trump in office.

If you don't think we are better off (generally speaking) then that's a you problem. Lol. Only brainwashed people think we arent.

Yeah, her first answer was weak. But the rest of the debate, her answers were strong (minus the time late in the debate when she tried to rephrase her first answer and it still didn't work). Out of a 90+ minute debate, she had 3-4 minutes of clunkers. Out of a 90+ minute debate, Trump didn't manage 3-4 minutes of even mediocre moments.

Do you realize how silly you look pushing this point??? Maybe she didn't give you the answer she wanted to hear, maybe she went about it in an around about way but at least she tried to answer it. How many (seriously, how many???) questions did the convicted felon refuse to answer? Did he want Ukraine to win? Would he oppose a federal abortion ban? Did he have any regrets about his conduct on January 6th? Did he finally admit he lost the 2020 election?? Asked and unanswered. Asked and unanswered. Your boy got his ass handed to him so freakin' badly you're digging deep to find something to ding Harris with. C'mon, you're the guy who admitted your retirement accounts have taken a bath the past 3 years while the rest of us made bank. You might want to review your thought processes......

What the hell are you talking about? Trump isn't "my boy". Yes, my retirement accounts took a bath over the last 1.5 to 2 years. I know why and you don't. Even though I lost money I'm still very comfortable with what's in them. I'll refrain from making any comments about your thought processes.

you might consider a new broker because the market has been great over that span.

I actually know what @tlongII is talking about and why he doesn't want to explain publicly.

HARRIS: "Donald Trump left us the worst unemployment since the Great Depression."

At the height of the Great Depression in 1933, the national unemployment rate was near 25%, according to the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library.

At the start of the COVID pandemic, the unemployment rate peaked at 14.8% in April 2020, a level not seen since 1948, according to the Congressional Research Service.

By the time Trump left office the January 2021 unemployment rate was 6.3%.

Is that her 1 false claim compared to Trump's 33?

12,830,000 unemployed during the Great Depression.

20,500,000 unemployed during Covid.

By numbers that is the worst since the Great Depression.

Harris showed her skill cross examining Trump. She got him to blurt out things that hurt him. Directly addressed TV audience as "you" in the way she previously would have said "ladies and gentlemen of the jury".
Guilty.
