I have to comment on this twice. Im not gonna name names, but there are a few people in this thread alone that have made clear statements for months that if you are undecided or support trump you are part of the problem. So you gonna go call them out too?

From the title of the thread and the OP's assertion that no one watched, it seems that it would indicate a diminished interest in the DNC party, candidates and platform. Considering how much attention Fox news commentary and time has been dedicated to rebuttal and counter argument during and since, i would hazard a guess that the candidate and DNC reached a much larger audience viewership than is indicated, even if they only saw parts of it through secondary sources. Heck, 6 of the 10 leading headlines on breitbart this morning were about the convention. alas, one also needs to include the twitterverse where right leaning pundits and the president tend to make their opinions known. i understand he can't help himself. Levin, Hannity, Carlson et al. included. people just want the bullet points anymore and are too lazy to do the work necessary to be truly informed, and are happy to have the same opinion as anyone agreeing with them. the world really needs the like button and the reposting features removed from the internet. smarter and informed voters would make this a much better place to live.

Have you not said and clarified your stance that at this point if someone is not against Trump they are part of the problem?

So I must ask, Is your post and question about respect about me tagging you?(of which I'm not sure how that would be disrespectful?) or is it because i'm stating you are one of the people who have made this claim that if you aren't against Trump, you are part of the problem? (maybe not word for word, id have to go back and quote the posts for that).

So I ask, if you are agreeing that you have said that, then how would it be disrespectful for me to make that statement?

If you are denying it, then, I suppose I will have to go dig up some quotes.

At any rate, i'm not sure how you think this is disrespectful, unless you are not reading the thread, understanding the context and/or are just biased because I don't agree with you on this topic?

It goes in waves. Because I'm a Blazer fanatic and feel a connection to anyone else here because of that. I've explained that before.

My level of dissatisfaction is not universal to all here. Only to some. And its mostly because of instances like this.

The continual twisting of words, attacking posters without knowing the context of their post(ive been guilty and try to be aware and admit wrong doing if so)

Even you have been a part of that dissatisfaction because you will get into these modes where instead of answering a question legitimately, you do a spin off and answer questions with questions.

Its not constructive.

Trust me. Sometimes I ask myself why the hell am I here.....Its the same people day after day telling everyone their opinions are the only right ones and if you disagree with those people then you are part of the problem... they imply. (hence my comments about others being part of the problem, it was in mockery)

And if you treat them the way they treat you, then you're a condescending, demeaning, insulting person.

I mean River is a perfect example. I tagged him. he doesn't know why. But immediately took it as a sign of disrespect. Then continues to go on and say he isn't gonna read why I tagged him and basically just assumes I was being disrespectful.

This is complete insanity to me... yet its these people who belittle anyone who disagrees with them.


I don't expect anyone to change, but it sure would be nice if people would be more aware of their double standards and hypocritical behavior.

There are half a dozen or so posters who post daily their opinions as facts and belittle anyone who disagrees. When you treat them the same, they get butt hurt.

Ive never been in a group environment where so many people are incapable of having constructive conversations without feeling the need to insult or demean those who disagree. Course ive never been part of any other forum other than this. I speak mostly of real life groups.

It would be even nicer if someone gave me a trillion dollars and made me King.

I commented that I will want to watch the conventions to continue to solidify my decision. I was told that I'm a nincompoop for being undecided. The only way to be decided currently is by believing twitter and facebook.

I'm arguing i'm NOT making a final decision based off of hearsay news twisted to fit a narrative. And I got called a nincompoop for it. Then when I countered I was told I was condescending.

I'm the grumpy old fart that gives school children the finger as they walk past my run down house on their way to school or home from school. Usually it's on their way home from school because when they head for school at 9 am I'm still asleep with a hangover from my drunken rowdiness the night before. Now excuse me, I've got to get to the store and get me a pack of unfiltered Camels and a six pack of PBS beer to go with my sweat stained T-shirt, boxer shorts, old sandals and week old stubble that I have when I sit on my rocking chair cussing and giving the finger to the small kiddies. All of which is paid for with my welfare check and some money selling dope to kids. ps My hair looks like that Trump doctor's hair. Now, you kids get the hell off my lawn! If I see you riding your little tricycles in the street one more time I'm gonna run over them with my truck. That's what I am. Assuming that was true and I see no reason why it would have been true, it's the last time Trump will get a whiff of Biden's rear end. Yeah, Trump can kiss his ass goodbye as Biden heads for the finish line.

I’m not talking about mailing it in. I’m talking about someone from Trumps side flipping on the DNC convention and being swayed. Maybe four people in the country are capable of that at this point. It just seems like the conventions are just to fire up the current base which is fine I guess but these speeches aren’t being heard by 95% of Trump voters. So what’s the point.

I'll find it for you, but I saw a poll that showed the number of people who change their votes based on conventions is actually sort of high (much higher than I thought).

I'm having issues finding it but I thought I saw earlier a study showed that 14-19% (one of those two) of likely voters wait until the conventions to make a decision.
I guess the explanation would be a lot of people don't pay attention to politics until it's time to vote.
Edit: I'm in a hurry to get out of the office I'll look this evening. If I'm wrong about that number I apologize.

I guess I could see that in any other election...but things are so different now and so polarizing I just can’t imagine someone undecided at this point. Doesn’t seem possible
