i'm confused. the lakers were called for 6 fouls in the 3rd quarter(7 if you add in kobe's tech). the blazers were called for 5 fouls in the 3rd quarter. obviously that doesn't come close to telling the whole story, but it doesn't seem like there was a large difference in foul calls there.

and i love that when asked about the last 5 minutes, kobe singled out free throws as well. portland took 10 free throws in the last 5 minutes. 8 of them were from intentional fouls. the lakers(all kobe) took 3 free throws during that period(obviously none being from intentional fouls).

You lectured to Lost about the extra FTs at home not being a big deal, neither was his interview so why are you so shocked/surprised/etc. about his comment? It was bland stuff man, but here you are getting all into it.

Ok a simple typo, third, fourth, whatever I don't even care.

I guess the 7 fouls in three minutes at the start of the fourth was upsetting them? Good victory for the Blazers, they've played us well in Portland and they've got some nice pieces.

^^^although I would never claim that kobe "wimped" out, I do agree that if he wants FTs that he should take it to the bucket more........I watched the 4th quarter of that game last night and I honestly thought it was called very good on both ends...........Kobe just made some bad decisions down the stretch, but that happens from time to time...........

I can tell by the look in his eyes that he was really disheartened by this loss. I think Portland is really getting under his skin.

He took one unnecessary three towards the end, then he tried driving to the basket, he got nothing then kicked it out for a TO. Though that was also a play that got Fish a wide open three the play before.
