If we actually netted Durant while keeping Dame, Hart and Nurk we would win the title. So Ant S&T, the rights to Shaedon, EBEC and we take the conditions off of the pick we owe Chicago and send them as many draft assets as possible. We pick up a backup PG with the TPMLE and a vet min backup ring chasing C. Dame, Hart, Durant, Grant, Nurk, Nas, Justise, TPMLE PG, vet min C and Joe Ingles by the time the playoffs role around. Greatest Blazers team ever assembled.

Of course but it would be fucking crazy if some shit like I posted above went down... if the Nets had a good S&T lined up for Kyrie they might look to move Durant. Obviously not going to happen but fun and funny to talk about.

Some made up scenarios:

Dame mad that Shaedon Sharpe follows Durant on IG but not him, demands Sharpe be traded for KD.

Dame met Sharpe earlier who compared himself to KD. Dame thought the dude was crazy, unfollowed him, and now trolling him on IG.
 
Realistically, though. Brooklyn holds a ton of leverage because KD is signed on long term, and is seemingly healthy.

They'd probably want a ridiculous package of picks/young players.

The problem is finding a team that both has the requisite amount of assets and a desire to win now. Off the top of my head, I see only a few of those destinations:

- GS-- (Kuminga, Wiseman, S&T Poole, etc)
- Toronto -- (Barnes + OG?+ fillers)
- Portland-- (Sharpe + S&T Ant + fillers)
- New Orleans -- Ingram? Maybe Zion?
 
I love this time of year. I'm just juicing for content and Dame is delivering.

I know we aren't getting Durant, but at the same time I'm now rooting hard for Kyrie to leave Brooklyn LOL.
 
Crazy thing is if Kyrie leaves they can’t just blow it up and get a rebuilding package, since all of their picks that they owe Houston are unprotected. Plus the swaps in intervening years.

The own Philly's picks from the Harden swap though. I don't think they're gonna want to tank completely, but they may take a rebuilding haul + a young established player like Ant.
 
Sharpe had hid press conference so I fully expect hum to be around. Hart seems more involved than ever. Nurk ad well.

A resigned Ant + EBEC + Little + every possible pick/swaps in the future is not enough. What do we add?

Isn't it though? It's more than what Houston got for Harden. It's more than what the Warriors got for Durant. Durant is older now. I think Ant + picks/filler is in line for what Brooklyn could expect.

You're getting 4 guaranteed years of Durant. Harden had two before a PO. Warriors were lucky to get anything for Durant, Durant was a UFA at the time.

Yeah, Durant will be 38 at the tail end of that contract. LeBron is about to turn 38 and is still a top 5 player in the league.

Durant has under performed the last two post seasons. He's no longer in his prime. I think Ant + picks + MAYBE Little. We have the assets to get it done.

It's on Durant to give the green light now.
