Oh you like the slight possibility of prospects working out more than an overwhelming likelihood at one or more championships? I want Dame's "ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!!!" moment, it would be way more low key and fucking cool. You shouldn't mean it.If we did that, we'd be like the Nets trading for Kevin Garnett. Or the Nets trading for James Harden.
I'd rather trade Dame to the Nets than trade for Durant. YES I MEAN IT

If they are losing Kyrie, they should get young pieces for him in a S&T... then get something like I'm proposing for a disgruntled KD... but you're right they won't be in a situation where they have to take less than KD is worth.him wanting a trade is irrelevant. he's under contract for three years without any options.

He can get traded obviously but he doesnt have the leverage to dictate his destination.that’s cute that you don’t think players run the league. If he wants out he’ll be traded.
they can and should get a ridiculous package in a trade, but they have 0 obligations to trade him to a team he might prefer. and our trade package can get beat fairly easilyIf they are losing Kyrie, they should get young pieces for him in a S&T... then get something like I'm proposing for a disgruntled KD... but you're right they won't be in a situation where they have to take less than KD is worth.

How's that worked out for the Nets?I can't believe I'm arguing against people that are against acquiring Kevin freaking Durant.
I think his value goes down considerably if he's seen as less than enthusiastic about his destination. Also Ant, Shaedon, an expiring contract, three first rounders and picks swaps is not very easy to beat... especially when you take into consideration that Durant would be over the moon about coming to play with Dame, Grant, Hart and Nurk plus some good bench pieces.they can and should get a ridiculous package in a trade, but they have 0 obligations to trade him to a team he might prefer. and our trade package can get beat fairly easily
Develop smelop I want wins that lead to a championship! If we did that, we'd be like the Nets trading for Kevin Garnett. Or the Nets trading for James Harden.

WTF is KD going to do if they trade him to a team that he doesn't want to go to? Not show up and fake an injury? At his age, with his legacy and his mindset/love for the game? Please.I disagree, these superstars always end up going where they want. Can’t remember the last one that didn’t.

Portland with Dame, Grant, Hart, Nurk, Nas, Justise and our TPMLE?I don’t think Portland would be first on KDs list even if he did demand a trade tbh
Disagree with this on multiple levels.I think his value goes down considerably if he's seen as less than enthusiastic about his destination. and why would he do that? That's not KD's mindset whatsoeverOh, he could force their hand. He could say he was going to pull a Ben Simmons and say he only wants to play for the Blazers and that he will sit out next year on any other team.
and why would he do that? That's not KD's mindset whatsoever
Look man i would love it. I've been on this KD to Portland shit for over a month but if a bidding war ensues, we dont have the pieces. And KD at age 34 coming off his injuries is not gonna threaten to sit out like Simmons. Especially if teams like Memphis or Toronto or Denver decide to cash in their assets. How do you know what his mindset is? Are you KD?
I'm saying if he wanted to come to Portland he could force things that way.
If he feeds into Dame keeping posting about the teamup, and realizes he's not winning shit in Brooklyn, maybe he would Plus, revenge on the Warriors in the best way.

we don't even have control of our pick next year. but why do you think we would give up everything but others wouldn't?They already gave us Dame for nothing.
They might get better players back, but I don't see anyone else giving as much future picks as we would.
