Here is Durant talking about getting drafted after Oden and the workout with us.

Portland pretty much has to do that if it's on the table.
Yeah because I think we would be the betting favorite to win the championship next season. Look at what the Warriors have and what we would have... I think we wouldn't be prohibitive favorites over them but I think we'd have to be favored to beat them.

Just read an article saying the Lakers are trying to offer AD and Westbrook to the Nets for Simmons and Irving...reuniting Westbrook and Durant as well as Irving and Lebron...AD with KD would probably keep KD in Brooklyn.
Westbrook, Durant, Davis
Lebron, Irving, Simmons......this would not surprise me at all but I'd hate to see the Lakers get better

Yeah this was a rumor last week, could make sense for both teams. I bet Lakers would do it, Nets might consider it if alternative is a rebuild.

The whole idea that because Irving is looking to get out doesn't mean Durant follows...all that narrative was concocted here with wishful thinking...and Lebron has not commited to the Lakers last I heard....they are comparable talents and that was my point.....Ant is not a comparable talent..I think we're fishing for a story that's all based on fantasy
They would likely want a young player with upside. Ant’s one of the best young players in the league. Remember- the Kings trade Cousins for Hield.

If I'm KD that's not at all appealing to reunite with Westbrook and Anthony Davis literally can't stay healthy.

Every single stop for Russ has been a disaster
Houston
Washington
LA

If Davis can stay healthy, and that's a big if, he is a great player. But he has played in a grand total of 604 games out of 809 possible games.

That’s because westbrick is one of the most overrated players of his generation. He’s an NBA professional and a freak athlete. He’s not a scrub, but he’s incredibly overrated and the extent of his contribution to teams has been exposed by his time away from KD.

There’s no excuse for the Lakers. What a S*** show. LeBron and Westbrook alone should be good for a 1st round win, let alone a playoff birth.

If Westbrick was as good as many make him out to be, there’s no way the Lakers would miss the playoffs.

His flaw is that he thought he was a #1. It always cracked me up how he would try to take over games while he was playing with KD. He just had no situational awareness. After KD left, he proved that he can't be a #1. He's a stat stuffer. That's it. If the guy had understood his role and played more like Chris Paul, he could have gone down as one of the best point guards of all time. His own ego is what held him back.

100% -- Westbrook was one of the main reasons Durant left OKC and he's only gotten more dedicated to his act, since.

If the Thunder had Harden in Westbrooks position instead, that team might have beaten the LeBron/Bosh/Wade team.

.136 on 3’s for Westbrick…

He was overrated because of the role he had on those teams.

It says he received permission from the Nets. Thus its nots tampering.
that's irrelevant. teams can't negotiate with other team's players until day 1 of free agency. (yes, i know they circumvent these rules all the time)

I don't want the Nets or Lakers to get better....and KD will have to sign off on Portland for anything to happen....I just don't think it's going to be a reality

League should tap their phones. What will be the punishment?

Adam Silver can fly an F-16 around the country. Tampering in LA? He’s there… An hour later tampering in Chicago… He’s there. Not to like… Attack them, that shouldn’t be the punishment. Just to get there fast…

Sure Davis has a risk of injuries. But how many games did Kyrie and Simmons play last year?

I'm not sure that's correct. Kyrie is not technically a free agent right now. Chris Paul communicated with Houston and then agreed he would not exercise his option so the Clippers traded him to Houston. This might be a similar situation.

I'm going to assume Durant goes elsewhere. What, if anything will happen to Ben Simmons? I wonder if Portland can get him for a couple of future picks, Keon, and change?

Hell No! Keep Simmons as far away from this team as possible, how can you guys still want him when we all saw what happened with him and the Nets and his “mental” issues

I’m telling you guys it will be a joke if we get him, I don’t care how good of a defender he is it will be useless when he is a liability on offense and late in games.

Woj:

The uncertainty surrounding Irving's future with the Nets continues to leave the franchise vulnerable to a Kevin Durant trade request, but that has yet to materialize, sources said. Durant has four years left on his contract and remained an advocate for the Nets to commit to a long-term deal for Irving, sources said. Numerous teams around the league are preparing to pursue Durant, one of the elite players in the sport, if he becomes available.

i think all this is just a leverage play by kyrie to get an extension. he's not leaving close to 40 mil on the table.

Yeah that seems most likely to me as well.

This the same guy that thinks the earth is flat and left millions on the table because of a shot.
