People in red states won't even know blue states are protesting.

It'll just be ANTIFA getting rowdy and burning libral cities to the ground again.

*Edit* Then they flip the channel to watch Republicans literally robbing Fort Knox pushing wheel barrows full of gold while blaming "the deep state" for having counted it wrong or something...

Maybe we better just sit on our asses and wait for a hero to come save us.

That seems to have been the Dem model all along. Now, here we are.

I'm all for doing stuff, but Red States are not going to follow blue states example as far as protests go. Not until a significant portion are destitute from these policies.

I'm all in for a general strike.

The democratic party is not and never has been in charge of saving your butt. I don't even know why you think it should be.

The constitution doesn't say "we the two political parties". It says "we the people".

If we the people don't care enough to do anything about this, no one will do anything about this.

Y'all act as though everyone living in a red state votes republican.

There are plenty of Democrats living in red states. Or even better, swing states that went red this cycle. They're the ones who need to be organizing protests. People in Philadelphia, Detroit, Milwaukee, St Louis, Miami, etc... people in Blue cities surrounded by rural red counties.

You mean like Occupy Wall Street? Black Lives Matter?

Those were super successful.

Without leadership this shit doesn't work.

Yes, I agree to an extent - a protester in a purple state is more valuable than a protester in a blue state, all other things being equal.
But, there's value in large numbers, there's value in a truly nationwide movement, and there is value in ramping up pressure on even the bluest of blue state representatives.

Leaders don't have to hold elective office.

In light of the discussion I thought I would add this. It's from a "godless liberal" media site but at least it's a start. And the more outrages the Clown Town heaps upon America, the more we are going to see this. People do not like having their trust betrayed and I think eventually (2026??) we are going to see the backlash. Hey, if even Jesse (the David Schwimmer Wannabe) Waters is whining because his buddy (a veteran) is getting laid off, that is a sliver of good news.

Poor lives matter?
Need a leader. OWS and BLM failed because of a lack of organization. Problem is, it's far more profitable to join the other side.

Without good organization (which takes a leader or some leaders), the movement will just fall apart and disperse like OWS and BLM did.

If only I were leadership material or understood people or the system well enough to know how.

Want to start a fight? I can do that. But I think our side loses in a physical altercation.

I'm not sure about that, actually.
Although I'm definitely not itching to find out, because both sides lose, even if one side prevails.
What percentage of the population is on our side at the start of the conflict?
Which side do the military commanders favor? Which side do the troops favor?
Where is the battle fought? In the forests and fields, or in the cities? With nukes or with small arms?
