Well, in North America. The easier move is to Canada first. Usually nurses there. Hell, my parents went to Canada first then moved to Oregon

In most of the rest of the world, Filipinos are the housekeepers. We are the Mexicans of Asia for a reason. It's the move we did in Italy or any other country, cant find someone who speaks English? Your next best bet is to find a filipino (they all speak English by the way)

I justify nothing, no back flips here. I love the rule of law. And yes, I want it enforced. On the federal level, the President has the responsibility, to see that all laws are duly enforced.
If you do not like the law, you pressure your Congressman/Senator to change the law. Whining about it being enforced shows a lack of understanding and appreciation of the system.

Hawaii...that'd be the first move here for many...another place that is majority Filipino....in Hawaii you become a "local" as a Filipino faster than any other place over here.

I think many have been there though, plantation workers. Same process as moving to the mainland though, it's tough to get in legally unless you are rich or have some connections
 
It's hard to even get a Visa because they assume you'll just overstay your Visa (known as a TNT)

There's no law that states asylum seekers have to be separated from their families. It's a policy.

In fact, per Article 31 of the 1951 Refugee Convention in Geneva (which the US is a signatory) "The contracting states shall not impose penalties on refugees who entered illegally in search of asylum if they present themselves "

But, could there be a strait forward simple answer.
One (the citizen) was eligible for bail but denied. The other (illegals) are not eligible for bail and the courts have so ruled.

This whole thing strikes me as bull. If I were told at any border, if you cross here your children will be taken from you and you will be incarcerated, There would be nothing left to discuss.
I am out of there, fuck this place, I find some where else to go.
Now if these are real parents submitting to this shit, what the fuck is wrong with them?
