Wheels suggested Oct 2nd because the Blazers will have had a few days of training camp and he might be able to give us some insight into how the team is looking.

Please let me know if you are planning on coming and bringing a guest(s) so I can get an idea of which venue will work best.

I could make it so the periscope feed is only given out in private to the forum members who ask for it in advance. You can see how many are viewing the feed so if suddenly there is a jump in viewers I will know someone on here gave our their code and I'll just shut the whole thing down. Or I'll just take my phone to the mens room and let everyone watch that.

Good plan, but then you might get an even bigger view spike. It could still be recorded though.
 
Everything is set! We are on for Friday, Oct 2nd, 6pm at Claim Jumpers!

They have a very nice outdoor covered patio that is separate from the rest of the restaurant.

Happy Hour is from 3pm - 6:30pm and 8:30pm to close.

I reserved half the patio, which is enough to hold 30 people. Let me know if you are planning on coming and how many guests you are bringing in case I need to reserve the entire patio.



In the past I have had a few people contact me privately saying they want to come but they really don't want people to know who they are. If that is a concern for you please send me a private message.

If you are short on funds please don't order food and drinks, then sneak out without paying the tab. That happened last time we were there and it was embarrassing. Just talk to me privately and I'll see to it that you won't go hungry.

Please order food and drink and please tip the wait staff. The last time we held a Meet and Greet it was at Hayden's, 20 people showed up, 4 people ordered food and the rest just drank water and didn't leave a tip. I can't believe I have to say these things.

Also, we always buy Wheels dinner. He's giving up his free time to talk with us, it's the least we can do. In the past ABM and I have covered his tab. ABM isn't around anymore so if anyone wants to pitch in a couple of bucks it would be appreciated.
 
If it were a weekend I would make it for sure. I wont be able to confirm until the week of based on how my work week looks like. If I am able to go though it would be myself and the wife.
 
I'll be there +1, and I'd be happy to chip in to buy Wheels dinner. I think it's great he's spending this time with us.
