Twitter is a’blaze with every Blazer fan demanding his firing. His only backer is Jaynes

The question is — will Neil go to a home game this season? It’s a safe bet that he’d be a ginormous distraction with the venomous and relentless boos he’d receive.

You think Olshey gives a shit? He’ll be first row just as a fuck you to those fans. And no one is gonna care by then anyway.
Olshey shouldn't get inside anybody's head in my view...he's like the guy at the DMV who tests my eyes to renew my drivers license....I don't need to see him or hear him much..he's a suit in an office

Olshey's act fooled most of us... some for a couple years, some up until this week, but I don't know how anyone can defend him anymore.

hows that job search going for Terry?

Somebody has to do it, otherwise this would not be a true fan forum.

I volunteer! Longest active playoff streak in the NBA and he cuts a rather dashing image.

Not our problem...

I don't think most fired head coaches get another job within the first month, let alone the first year. I think it would serve Stotts well to take a year off and then maybe be an assistant again.

Same advice I'd give Neil at this point.

So you are not a fan of the Chauncey hire? Who did you want?

that's the thing though, nobody needs to defend him...that's the owner's gig..and decision. I figure she was a Days of our Lives fan and he's disgruntled because of the overtime she requires to keep him around? ( Just kidding)

He’s got two years to sail the Caribbean while being paid until he’s 65 years old. I doubt he gives a shit. Likely is retired at this point.
In two years he'll be eligible for social security and medicare....and he's already wealthy...retirement is wonderful...people who tell you it's not are lying or have no interests

I have no issue with the Billups hire, he could be great, who knows. I'm confident, with minimal roster moves, we will not be getting past the WCF with Billups either.

My issue with Olshey has always been his ability to put together a contending roster, which I have long contended requires multiple all-stars. He lost LMA for nothing, and now he's got Dame on the ropes as well. This entire process has been a disaster, his moves appear to be based out of self-peservation and getting 2 more years instead of 1 before he's fired.

Maybe he'll prove me wrong, Dame will calm down (I expect this), and he'll surround him with a real contending roster, but I'm not betting on it.

nah he’s out there interviewing with Orlando, he’s obviously desperate.

Somebody saw him chillin at Starbucks in Lake Oswego recently...I think the last thing he craves is travel

True, I forgot who we’re dealing with here. His biggest day of the week is probably something like new book release day at the Lake Oswego Public Library.

.

Udoka was my first choice because of the Portland ties. A Boston friend told me they wanted Chauncey bad, but because of his relationship with Neil, Chauncey was Portland's to lose. So they jumped on Udoka.

I stand corrected:

There still are plenty of people who are holding out hope, against all logic, that Olshey can lead us to the promise land.

I hope they're right.
