A question I posed to some friends recently but no one has a good answer, why is it that Trump never goes after Jon Stewart and especially the South Park guys?
They don't have the same rules as Over The Air channels do but he bitches and moans an awful lot about CNN/MSNBC and a bunch of other stations/shows that mock him to no end but he never really goes after JS or SP. Trump might have a decent relationship with the new owners of Paramount (Ellisons) but he seemed to be pretty combative with the old owners (Sherry Redstone) and routinely went after 60 Minutes that is also a Paramount property.Yet...
In all seriousness, I imagine both JS and SP have excellent contracts. Trump is close to the new owners of Paramount, the company that has the broadcast rights to both shows. If there were a way he could get them off the air, he would. Also, I believe that cable channels don't have the same rules as OTA channels. But I could be wrong on that.
If Conan speaks out on it in a serious matter you know you done fucked up.
The GOAT of late night.
Bill Maher had the gall to object to characterization of 9/11 hijackers as cowards. He said they were evil and fanatic but not cowardly.I believe ABC cancelled Bill Maher's original show Politically Incorrect as well if I'm not mistaken.
Letterman is the GOAT of late night.

Johnny Carson is the GOAT!
Steve Alan gets props from me for playing jazz piano during his show. That clip of him playing while Kerouac read “On the road” drunk like Dean Martin is a classicJack Parr
I would have no issue at all if there were no government pressure. Not even a bit.His job isn't to dare them ... it's be a comedian and entertainer. He tried to state something as fact that is far from known at this point and he didn't even attempt to do it in a funny manner. You can get away with saying a lot of offensive stuff, as long as it's funny and he didn't even try to make it funny. Should he have been taken off the air, no but he also thumbed his nose at a very touchy subject and is now reaping the consequences. The government has overstepped their bounds in a big way but the affiliates not wanting him on their airwaves is just business. If Trump/FCC hadn't said anything but the affiliates pulled him, would you have an issue?
Craig Ferguson is up there for me because he had ALL the honeys hot and bothered on his show. I've only seen clips but it's non-stop... How did he work that out?I’ll give a shout out to Craig Ferguson. The late night host who truly gave zero fucks
His voice annoyed me.Craig Ferguson is up there for me because he had ALL the honeys hot and bothered on his show. I've only seen clips but it's non-stop... How did he work that out?

Someone might have already addressed this, but politically correct was taken off the air because Bill said the pilots who flew the planes were actually brave. And at that point in our history they were looking for any reason to get rid of dissenting voices.I believe ABC cancelled Bill Maher's original show Politically Incorrect as well if I'm not mistaken.
