People always say I like all white players. Simply not true. I can't stand JJ Redick, Jimmer or Hansbrough. I think Birdman's really ghey and Jason Kidd was one of my most hated players of all time.

Hey JJ is who I want CJ to turn into.

I love how the end of this clip, intentional or not, ends with Reggie Miller saying "fake"

They don't say you like all white players, they say you like only white players. (But admit it, you only half hate Jason Kidd.)

He's one letter away.

Actually, I don't think they're that similar. I think Allen Crabbe is closer to JJ. CJ can create his own shot and has "craftiness".

Re: The 2013-14 Around The NBA Thread......

Bogut should have punched Jordan in the face! That would be worth a 5 game suspension to see Jordan cry like a bitch!

I got to give Jordan credit for hitting the weight room. The dude's arms are huge. They get bigger every year. And he stays healthy for a big guy who actually leaves the floor.

PHI came back big against WAS and up 9 late in 4th.

ORL absolutely torching the Demon Chickens

MIN up 20 on the Zombie Sonics going to halftime.

Is that actually something they do? I too had never heard of that.

I did not either, but check this out, from Marcus Thompson II:

The first shot between the teams was fired before the game.

It's a long-standing tradition for Christians on both teams to attend a chapel service together. Each NBA arena offers this service to the players, and always one time and one room. But multiple team sources confirmed the Clippers broke that tradition and separated the services, informing the Warriors they would have their own service earlier.

I read another article before the game yesterday with some quotes from anonymous Warriors saying they'd never heard of a team splitting the service up and also suggesting that they must have the Warriors built up as some kind of tremendous villain in their heads.

And in response to the rest of your post, Matt Barnes is a legit tough guy. Hes an instigating, irritating, asshole, but hes legit.

The rest are laughable. The TNT crew was clowning on DJ, stating the obvious that you could tell he thought he was being bad shoving the big white guy, and totally realized he bit off more than he could chew when Bogut got right back at him. I don't know shit about the Griffin-MJackson confrontation from last night. I have a hard time believing Griffin would bump a head coach, but who the hell knows. The Warriors clown on him HARD so I honestly don't fault him for pulling some shiesty shit against us. Some of my favorite Griffin vs. Warriors moments:

He had another pretty pathetic 3 pt shot last night but no one on the W's really gave him shit for it, unfortunately.

They're just ****s. They infuriate me, but I can't even get that mad about it because they're just so oblivious. They think they're really hot shit, they think they're really tough. They continually try to punk the Warriors because the W's are sort of a whitebread roster that seldom tries to act tough (Draymond Green excluded) and it backfires in their face when the W's don't backdown and the Clips' collective asshole tightens up.

Love is back to mid-season form!

Rubio with a rare shooting night. He also dished out 10 dimes.

IIRC that's two double-doubles for Licky in 2 games.

Anthony Davis with a huge game tonight. 26pts, 17rebs

But lost by 20 on the road to ORL

Bennett 0-3 ( 2 of them 3-pointers) in 12 minutes. 1 rebound, 4 fouls.

Has anyone fucked up high picks so much in successive drafts as the Cavs with Tristan Thompson, Waiters and Bennett? At best they might turn into serviceable players.

They did pick Kyrie Irving

Plumlee another double-double already! How come the Nets couldn't get this out of him?

Thompson has actually looked good, but Bennett doesn't look like a #1 pick. They should have taken Oladipo.

Remember Thompson was taken one pick ahead of Jonas Valanciunas. And they took Waiters over Lillard AND Drummond.

I've picked 3 out of my 5 teams so far for LPBB. POR/GSW/WAS

Was debating NO and CLE/DET mainly to allow me some time zone diversity and so I could watch some exciting young players.

But SAC looks seriously fun to watch.

Anthony Davis is going to be really good. 26/17 tonight.

Kevin Love is a man on fire. I kinda take back all the Hate I've spewed at him over the years.

Naaaaaa

Didn't NO get crushed, though? Good games don't mean a lot if you can't win.

I really don't think there was any doubt about him as a talent. He had some monster games last year, but he just couldn't stay healthy.

He's got a really unbalanced team. I really don't agree with the good stats on bad teams = bad player sentiment.
