MCW isn't a star yet... If he does, then he can be on this list. Until then, no.

Same with Faried, he's not a star yet.

Faried is the GOAT compared to Nolan Smith. And MCW is putting up All Star PG numbers.

Do not get me wrong at all, I wanted Faried that entire draft, and was incensed when we picked Smith.

But the verdict is still out on MCW. 12 games means nothing right now. I'll wait until the end of the year.

Why do the games mean nothing? He's played great. Does our 10-2 run mean nothing? PRESEASON means nothing. But real live regular season games mean a lot. You can wait til the end of the year if you want, but he's already a great player. Personally, I knew Lillard was good after his first game. Couldn't you tell? Dd you need to wait all year? With the greats, you can tell.

Hawes is good. Philly is one of the most exciting teams in the league. Great crowd too.

Preseason means nothing, yes.

As a team, 12 games means something. As a player, it is more of a trajectory than that. I dunno, he's really good. But when ALL the scouting comes in and the adjustments need to be made. We'll see. I'm just not going to put regrets up so quickly. It's not needed, especially with our franchise.

Kingspeed you do know MCW specifically said he did not want to be drafted by us. When you draft a player that doesn't want to be on your team its never a good thing regardless of the talent level they have. Besides MCW coming off the bench without the green light isn't going to be near the same player that a whole teams offense is based off of.
 
Turner may not shoot at a high %, But he hits when needed, it seems.

Hey it's just obvious we missed out big. But CJ will probably be decent to good so that will make it easier to deal with me. We passed on a big star though. MCW is for real. If you were Philly fan, you would think he was for real. His coach said he was.

Well, given what RHAL just said, it seems moot and that we never missed out anyway, since he didn't want to be here. So there's no point in speculating anyway.

It's Jordan and Drexler all over again. Luckily, Lillard is still awesome and we're still a great team. But you don't let the players dictate and we missed a good one.

I'm having a hard time remembering the specifics but it boiled down to him wanting a chance to be "the guy" on a team and with Lillard here he didn't feel like he would have as great of an opportunity as with a different team.

Its not even close to Jordan and Drexler. Jordan never said he didn't want to come here while MCW did.

He just wanted to go somewhere where he could start. We could've moved Lillard to SG. You make it work. Don't let the player dictate where he will and won't play. Are you still glad we picked Bowie over Jordan?

MCW had nothing against Portland. He just wanted to start which is a good thing.
 
Also we weren't the only ones to pass on MCW so if you have to complain about us missing out on him you have to say the same thing about every other team that passed on him as well.
