uh, this season isn't Summer of 2009 when LMA and Bargnani signed their extensions. What they were saying is that Bryan Colangelo wasn't a good prognosticator. Then again, he was somewhat heavily invested in Bargnani doing well.

Gotta love when management gives out enormous contracts to validate their previous decisions.

Memphis is equally horrible. I look at that team and I see barely any talent. Gasol is pro, and Randolph is still good, but they have no bench and Prince is way past his prime. I have no idea how that team was so good last year.

They played an OKC team without Westbrook.

As evident last night, you can play OKC with AND without westbrook in the same game. It's all in the execution of the trolling of your coach. lol.

This. Is. Awesome.

@ Nate - hahahaha. There's a reason, Blake, why they are leaving you out there. But the bench reaction is the best. LMFAO.

Also, in that gif, the shot clock goes down really, really fast. lol.

I don't know if this was always on the schedule, but ESPN has the most random game for our national one. Atlanta at Portland. What a strange one to pick... not the OKC one, or GS or something. Whatevs. lol.

If we are still top three by the All-Star break, they'll be rushing to add us to the schedule.

They pick all the match-ups they want to show, and see what teams are left over that haven't been scheduled and fill in the blanks - hence Atl vs Port.

At current winning percentages, it will take 47.5 wins to make the playoffs in the West and 34.5 in the East. (That's pretty cool that it adds up to 82.000!) I'm not sure which number is nuttier.

Heat dropped 4 places on Hollinger's rankings with the loss vs Chi from 3rd to 7th. Ouch. Blazers could use a few blow outs vs Utah!

Friday's #Lakers at Kings game is no longer on NBA TV. But Sunday's Raptors at Lakers game now added to NBA TV

Hearing this strong: Rockets determined to trade Omer Asik by Dec. 19 at latest and have ramped up discussions with potential trade partners

Marc Stein ‏@ESPNSteinLine 38m
Reason Dec. 19 is significant is because anyone Rockets get would be eligible to be re-packaged in new deal on trade-deadline day (Feb. 20)

Marc Stein ‏@ESPNSteinLine 37m
You can liken this to Thomas Robinson situation. Everyone knew Rockets were moving him by draft day ... it's just of matter of where now

Marc Stein ‏@ESPNSteinLine 35m
Specific window to keep eye on for Rockets moving Asik is Dec. 15 (when last summer's free-agent signees become trade-eligible) to Dec. 19

With @ESPNSteinLine reporting Rox ramped up Omer Asik talks, a quick note: last I was told by rival team, Houston still seeking lottery pick

That's laughable. Asik isn't worth a lotto pick in this draft.

If Houston can't find lottery pick for Asik, rival teams under impression they're also on the lookout for high-level power forward.

This team is delusional.

Anthony Slater @anthonyVslater
Russell Westbrook (sick) questionable for tonight's game in New Orleans. Scott Brooks' comments: bit.ly/IHUMUM

He's a good player, but he's a malcontent and they don't have the leverage that they think they have, and the rest of the league knows it.

Russell Westbrook is always questionable. Oh wait, never mind. Brooks was referring to Westbrook's health, not his decision making.

Its gotten beyond delusional. It reminds me of David Kahn in Minnesota floating rumor to the media. ‘Were gonna offer Batum a toxic contract’ ‘were willing to give up valuable assets or you’ll be left overpaying Batum’ ‘We have cap space to give Batum a huge deal you better trade with us soon’ Well I guess at least Morey won’t try to make an offer with “implied” cap space.

If Houston had a good trade offer they would’ve made it. If another team thought Asik was worth more than his contract they would’ve signed him last season. Its ridiculous someone is making statements thinking Houston can overpay for a free agent and in one years time flip him for a lottery pick? Sheesh.
