Concur with this. I don't think anyone thought we could get Lopez and Robinson for all of our 2nds. Now, whenever someone says something like "there's no way Team X would take that for Player Y", you can point to Robinson and Lopez trades.

I thought we'd be much improved this year, I think I said 5th in the west, but I never thought we'd have the best record in the west for any period of time. The funny thing is that Dame isn't even playing as well as he could be. I think his shooting will improve, and when it does our team will be extremely difficult to defend.

Curry just sunk the Mavs with 1.5 to go. Karma is a weird thing. Great game.

Here's the last 1:20 of the game if anyone cares to watch:

Now that Hilton Armstrong has been called up by the W's, Jermaine O'Neal considering season ending wrist surgery.

Shiet.

Jermaine is done as an effective player in the league imo.

Hopefully CJ will become this good for us:

That sucks for Steve. Maybe the Lakers will make a move for a point guard after all.

FTFY.
Get ready for an epically lopsided trade.

Pau Gasol for CP3?

Steve Blake led to more success for that team than Kobe will.

I’m starting to think the Lakers intentionally gave Kobe that contract because they know he can no longer carry a team. They saw the upcoming free agents and realized there is no chance of creating a super team with cap space in the next few years. So they decided to take a sneaky way of tanking. On the surface they will claim to be trying to win, Kobe will be allowed to shoot as much as he wants to beat Kareems scoring record, the team will make a ton of cash from scoring record promotions, and the GM will acquire draft picks to aim for contending 2 or 3 years after Kobe retires.

Kobe is a stop gap for sure.

Warriors are fringe playoff team. Why does anyone care about them?

Iggy and Curry are two of my favorite players to watch; I just love their skill sets. Along with us they have the best shooters in the NBA. They gave the Spurs a good challenge last year. Not sure why you’re such a hater. Warriors fans are a passionate fan base that’s had terrible management for decades until the last couple of years. Remember the passion those fans had when they won that series against the Mavs? I’ve never seen a crowd more happy with a conference semifinals appearance.

Don't worry man, Kingspeed will love them next week.

A fringe playoff team because of the first 20 games of the season?

Real NBA scouts say you can tell what a team is after 20 games. Well, it's been 23 for them now. Tbarring a miraculous trade for better players, they're a fringe playoff team.

I liked the Warriors in 2007. I even enjoyed them beating Denver last year but they've taken a huge step backwards this year. I wouldn't be surprised if they missed the playoffs.

nets up 15. They're my home team and Clips are battling us for seeds in West. Looks good!

The Blazers game is supposed to start in about 32 minutes, and they're still only halfway through the 3rd. We'll get to our game around halftime.

That's one thing I hate about TNT games. Their schedule of allotted time is totally out of whack with reality
