Good draft with Parker declaring today, but not exactly as awesome as we thought. Certainly better than last year, but I would not say there are that many franchise changers. Not as bummed about losing our first round pick. I assume we flip a coin with Miami and Houston. Mid 20's…….Takes the sting out.

Sim Bhullar declared for the draft today.

I say we trade/buy into the draft and put this guy on the Roy Hibbert conditioning plan.

Ha Seung-Jin sucked but he was fun to have around!

I saw Bhullar play live in Spokane during the NCAA tournament against SDSU. When he was on the court, NMSU was the better team. When he got into foul trouble, SDSU won the game.

Parker seems to be the most NBA-ready of the high draft picks. Wiggins is still a string-bean with limited handles, and Embid is an injury waiting to happen who doesn't yet have NBA offensive skills. I don't think much about this draft, though, and certainly don't see a player who was worth tanking for in it.

I agree & I still don't see how many can still have Wiggins as the projected #1 pick.

Potential. These guys are all so young. The question is who will be the best player, not who is now. A pretty expensive guess….

And that is EXACTLY the right word for this draft.....GUESS!

I would draft him, put him on roids for 2 years and see what happens.

From a defensive standpoint I still really like Marcus Smart in this draft. He has a lot of potential on the offensive end as well. But, I don't think there's a more versatile defender in the draft. Guys who can score and defend in the back court are rare. Most good perimeter defenders are either specialists or SF's.

I know the Blazers want to get back into the draft, but who would they trade to get back in? Buy maybe?

Haven't seen him or the other top prospects play almost at all but I got a feeling from articles, scouting reports and Zagger's post that Marcus Smart is the smartest, safest pick right now. Seems to already make a steady impact but also has room to grow.

Never mind, I found out when the draft selection is.

WTF?!?! Lakers have a 6.3% chance to get the #1 pick????? Fucking marvelous!

This prospect was my favorite prospect last year before he pulled out of the draft and now it's looking like he's not only going to stay in the draft but will likely come over right away.

He's beasting this year and put on some bulk:

A matchup nightmare with his court vision and ever improving jumper. At 6'10" 230 lbs., he's not so undersized at the four-spot anymore.

If there's a way to trade into the top-10.....

His stock is on the rise.

Kristaps Porzingis was a projected top-10 pick in 2015 and has declared this year. Interesting prospect -- he has a nice inside/out game at 7'1".

Saric kinda reminds me of Detlef Schrempf. I would love to have that guy.

K.J. McDaniels.

I think he is going to be a Gerald Wallace type player. I would love a young "Crash" on the Blazer's bench.

Patric Young: The chiseled Florida big man measured an impressive 6-10 (247 pounds and 7-1 ¾) in shoes, an inch taller than he measured at the Amare Stoudemire Camp in 2009. This is big for Young, who lacks the perimeter skills to play power forward in the NBA. While not a 7-footer, Young should be able to get by as a 6-10 center in the NBA. What was somewhat shocking is how small is standing reach is, at just 8-7 1/2, one of smallest ever measured for any NBA big man. The closest physical comparison we could come up with in the NBA is that of Carl Landry, who measured 6-8 1/2 in shoes, 248 pounds, with a 6-11 wingspan and a 8-6 1/2 standing reach

Listening to various draft coverage podcasts I heard a comp that really makes him an intriguing prospect:

"His feel for the game and intangibles that he brings is comparable to Marc Gasol."

Saric is awesome. I wonder what it would take to get a pick around where he's projected to go (#10 range)? Would McCollum, Leonard and Crabbe be enough? I'd give up all three for Saric.
