I imagine they get another more traditional PG to fill out the SL roster. So far, they only have about 6 players listed. Anyone else?

Collins
Swanigan
Layman
Pat C
RJ Hunter
Cleveland

Still up in the air if we are broadcasting or not. CSN usually decides if they want to pay. Not up to Blazers Broadcasting.

First two games are on CSN, but might not be done by Blazer Broadcasting? They might use their own crew? CSN probably cant afford you and all your greatness.

Shouldn't gotten another ex-Zag to play in Summer League: David Stockton.

Would be great at getting our bigs looks.

Instead we got another chucker. I'll be in Vegas embarrassing my girlfriend by yelling at RJ to pass the ball.

Meh, she'll be yelling right along with you.

Are these gonna be on Playstation Vue? I'm trying to get more info on that if anyone can help.

Ha--Stotts (on the radio this morning) says they're planning on Connaughton being a combo guard at summer league, basically co-running point with Hunter! Anyone know what the summer league record for turnovers is?

Still only aware of 6 players. What other scrubs are they filling the roster with?

Keith Benson?! NICE! If we make some deals to thin out our frontcourt (read: offload Meyers/Davis), I won't be upset if we keep him around as a 3rd string center.

Don't know anything about any of those guards. Markel Brown, Antonius Cleveland, Jorge Gutiérrez, Nick Johnson--anyone got any info on these dudes?

Lots of guys that have been playing overseas. We're definitely going to have trouble bringing the ball up the court.

Finally got some athletes on the team. Nick Johnson, Markel Brown and Antonius Cleveland should all be pretty fun to watch.

For Collins, I want to see how he transitions into being more of a face-up/stretch big in the NBA. I think he can eventually be a post up option in size advantage situations but that's going to take a couple years imo. I expect him to continue to show well defensively despite strength issues.

For Swanigan, it's all about defense for me. He's got a lot of skill offensively and will gobble up rebounds, but he played not to foul a lot of the time at Purdue and was routinely abused in pnr/space situations (slow feet, rarely in a stance).

Let's play Dame CJ and Nurk. We're getting at least 1 championship this year !
I can see it now,

'sweep the league!'

'but Damian is a nice guy'

' do you want to get into a real roster or back to the g league?'

Adams was a prospect I really liked coming into the draft.

His knee issues destroyed his upside. He was a lotto talent - red-flagged during workouts. Now it's about if he can even make a team.

Summer League Assistant Coaches:

Jason Staudt (Texas Tech)
Jonathan Yim (Cal State Fullerton)
T.C. Swirsky (UNLV)
Brian Barkdoll (Northwest Nazarene)

THE Chuck Swirsky?? Now we know how Dame got that All-Defense vote!!

I didn't know the Oregon Ducks were fielding a Summer League team but apparently they are.

Elgin Cook, Dylan Ennis, Jordan Bell, Jabari Brown
and Chris Boucher (still injured?) are all suiting up for the Golden State Ducks/Warriors.

Has it ever been asked or explained why Portland only does Vegas and not Orlando or SLC?

Dana Altman was Larry Riley's first college recruit. Not surprising G.S. has so many Ducks.
