Not really sure how to post video here but this angle shows it pretty clearly I think.

And just for the record, I’m one of the real warrior fans, since run tmc days. I think I’ve probably even got my old starter jacket somewhere! The bandwagon guys piss me off too, lol
Im having issues getting the video to pause on my phone I’ll check it out after lunch. Stupid iphones.

Sure...

Again like I said above:

If he was, the contact was marginal and that floppy BITCH deserves his injury.

That small amount of contact DID NOT create a situation where Klay needed to land like that. He unnecessarily spreads spread his legs (like Curry does A LOT) and fell on his ass.

It's what he gets.

Come on now, I'll admit that curry will flop (and I hate it) and do the crap where he jumps into the defender but Klay doesn't do that stuff. Watch the play, are you saying he wasn't bumped? After jumping straight up his body moves to the left as green runs into him. I love that these playoffs have been very physical and I don't think there should have been a foul called on that play but to say he flopped, and then gloat about an injury...not a good look.
Not just "Not Bumped" but "Clearly not Bumped in any way that would cause that fall.". He didn't even say a word to the refs. Please get out of here with that.
If he had been touched at all he would have been screaming that Green fouled him.

Bro, Terry can't even adjust to a simple ass 3-2 half-court trap...

We've witnessed this for years. So really, the opposing team woudln't need a Box-1 gimmick Defense anyway. :dunno:
Kind of thought we just watched a 3-2 against both OKC and Denver? Not to mention multiple times during a 53 win season? But what do i know?

OKC did not run a 3-2.

Denver didn't either. They simply trapped on the same pick and roll that Terry KEPT running...

Again i'm gonna have to disagree with you. They did run it at times. But i know that isn't what people want to hear. Portland beat it because the defenders couldn't hold their own against Lillard shooting from very deep and the other guys on the court making some shots. In particular CJ, Hood, Curry. Against OKC Kanter was more of an offensive threat before injury. I believe if he had not been injured against Denver they would have been better off also.
Now when they got up against Curry, Klay and Iggy things got tough. CJ still put the ball in the hole. They just could not rely on anyone else. And we all know now Lillard was playing injured. You can blame Stotts as that is the popular thing to do but i will not join in on the party.
Golden State played very good defense. Better than either OKC or Denver. Portland ran out of gas and the injuries got to be too much. Not on Stotts.

Yeah we'll continue agree to disagree because IMO you're completely wrong.

OKC never once ran a 3-2. Ever. Playing gap and help coverage is not a 3-2.

Show me a 3-2 here. Wait.. There isn't one...

No 3-2 trap here either...

I'm apparently really old because I'm having a hard time remembering the OKC series. I don't remember much if any 3-2 traps. They trapped PNR's, but mostly switched a lot. They did have guys picking up Dame at full/half court most of the time.

Denver tried a few different schemes along the way, but really Murray's defense was a huge bane for them as they basically exploited him where ever he was at.

Daaaaaaamn look at that Defense!
Someone send this to Terry (we give the greatest Shooter of All Time enough Space to shoot 3s) Stotts please

They did in game one and two vs OKC and it got exposed. It was there for all to see. Lillard dropped logo 3's and dropped passes to Kanter and Enes destroyed them. They never went back to it. Same thing happened in Denver except Kanter could not score as easily and Lillard then went to Hood and CJ. The 3-2 didn't work. Are you trying to say that the Thunder were down 2-0 in a series and never even tried what you all say Stotts can't adjust to? So now not only are you all better coaches than Stotts but now also Billy Donovan and Mike Malone. Seems like a stretch to me bro.
Yep we agree to disagree on this for sure.

Lovely.

It's not a gimmick either. The other players play the gaps, and help lines so seamlessly, all while trapping and getting into the passing lanes when he gets the ball..

It's beautiful to watch...

They just could not rely on anyone else.
Terry could have-but did not- rely on Meyers who made 5 swish3s in a row in the 1st half. This decision to not run plays for catch and shoots from Meyers in the 2nd half cost us 9+ points that could have won the game. When you have 25 points and better than Steph shooting in the 1st half, Terry you need to notice and continue to feed the hot hand. We can beat GSW given better coaching!

Sigh...

NO... They... Didn't....

They're playing man to man this entire video. Again... Playing the gaps and the help line does not equal a zone trap...

at 13 seconds GS passes up a wide open shot, at 14 seconds gs misses a wide open shot, at 30 seconds Curry gets by the trap and has an opportunity to make a play and loses the ball, at 42 seconds they pass up another shot, at 45 seconds they pass up another pretty open shot and dribble into a weird fade away jumper.

I guess my point is, the defense was good on steph but other guys had plenty of opportunities that they passed up. Blazers actually run into similar problems when their role players don't take the shots that are there.

edit: this was a response to the video @Labinot41 posted.

Also I want to point out that DMC did a bad job at setting screens, especially off the ball he was setting them late, and at least two times in this video Curry made his cut before the screen for him was set (off the ball).

I love breaking down video.

I think this was a good defensive strategy in spurts. GS made a lot of the right reads, but then passed up shots they should've taken, but part of the reason that defense was worked was GS didn't have guys out there that Toronto thought could beat them and was willing to find out.

Break down those above that posted.

Tell me if you see ONE 3-2 halfcourt trap.
Will do. For the record I wasnt arguing that OKC played 3-2 half court traps, that was someone else lol. I’ll go through and look though.

C'mon bro. Your video is three minutes long.

I actually actually not only agree with you on this but i called for him to do it after game one of the Warriors series. I wanted both Leonard and Collins on the court. Warriors were not in a position without Boogie to go Big the way the Blazers were. He took too long to go to Meyers and sit Aminu. Definitely a mistake on Stotts's part.

He always ribs me like this. So does Bones and Hoops.
There is a fine line. They never cross it. They all know what they want and i can respect that. They want the best possible coach with the best possible outcome.
As far as i am concerned that is what this place is all about.

Yes, and waiting too long to bring on and move ahead with hot swish3 shooting lost the WCF. As we saw in WCF Game 4, starting Meyers instead of Enes who was running down, injured, and fasting, was the productive move that could win. If Terry would only have started earlier and continued with it. Having Meyers and Zach together against GSW is a winning strategy for next season!

Got nothing to do with the length bro.
Not one of those videos shows The Blazers successful in breaking any kind of defense. They are collage type videos. Let alone showing anything but a highlight. They show Lillard making a shot but not how he got there. They show Kanter making a nice spin move and scoring but not the combination move Lillard made to get him the ball. They show nothing. I am talking about specific attempts that failed. Those will never be on a highlight reel.

We know, you'll never criticize him for anything, even if it means denying whats right in front of your eyes.
