Iggy is like a clutch version of Harkless/Aminu from 3.

Definitely disrupted the rhythm of their offense. Hard to know if that had a real affect though
And still lost!Nurse making multiple defensive adjustments in one quarter! What a concept!
Lol, and he can actually dribble!Iggy is like a clutch version of Harkless/Aminu from 3.
I kind of thought the last 3-4 minutes was pretty sloppy all the way around. I guess you could say it was good defense, but it wasn't "just" good defense it was just sloppy.
I don't understand, did anyone think this was the NCAA?And still lost!
This aint the NCAA.
Well some folks believe coaches are the key to the performance of an NBA team.I don't understand, did anyone think this was the NCAA?
I got a question to @dviss1 or some of you other guys who may know the rules better than I. Should Steph have gotten T'd up or something for literally being down in front of the Toronto bench DURING play? Cook Makes a 3 at one point and steph meets him at like 3 quarters court to chest bump. I thought players had to stay in their area? If you notice there were 2-3 other warriors over there too.
Edit: Steph and the other warriors were on the bench not playing btw.
I don't think so.Was he getting ready to check in?
Ok I found it it's about 8:40ish left in the 4th. The other two warriors do look like they are checking getting ready to check in. He might have been, but still isn't there a line for where players not playing should be?Was he getting ready to check in?
Nobody?Did anybody catch Grand Funk Railroad singing their hit song "We're An North American Band" on one of the commercial spots?
They are key, and anyone who thinks otherwise has no idea what they're talking about.Well some folks believe coaches are the key to the performance of an NBA team.
They're not.
But, they are large and in charge and dictate the college game.
Ergo, the NCAA reference.
5 seconds left with a 2 point lead totally uncontested? Not 9 seconds....Iggy tried to bail them out by taking a 3 with nearly 9 seconds left. Lucky for GS the shot went in!
Kind of wondering why Nick Nurse didn't call for a foul at the end of that game? That loss goes squarely on their coach in my book. When the warriors have the ball up 2 with 27 seconds and there is a 24 second shot clock i would think letting them run the clock down to 5 and letting them shoot an uncontested three would be exactly what you would not want to happen.
Are we gonna start saying that the coach isn't on the court now?
Are we gonna start saying that he can call the play all he wants but the team has to execute now?
Are we gonna start giving him a pass because he made a good adjustment in the 2nd quarter?
Are we gonna start praising his Box and 1 defense that got totally exposed as another gimmic that can't stop even a GS team without Klay?
Stay tuned for the next exciting episode of Every Coach is Better than Stotts.
Its definitely a shot if it goes he’s a hero. If it misses and they find a way to lose he’s a scapegoat. While he couldve waited another second or so, thats a very easy shot when you’re stepping into it. He isnt a great 3 point shooter, but I bet Kerr would live with getting it everyday of the week too.5 seconds left with a 2 point lead totally uncontested? Not 9 seconds....
I let Iggy take that shot every day of the week and twice on Sunday. By the way it's Sunday.
I thought when they got it out of stephs hands they would foul immediately. I believe, Green, Livingson and Iggy got it, obviously iggy was wide open so no one there to foul.I hate that strategy as well. 27 seconds left.......... stretch the game out. GS had some players on the court (Besides Steph) who who should have been sent to the line
And still lost!
This aint the NCAA.
They never had a chance to win. Got it within two but never got the ball back.Did you even watch the game? They still lost, but the defensive adjustment allowed them to erase a 12 point deficit and have a chance to win the game. The box-and-1 defense they used on Curry only allowed GSW 1 FG the last five minutes of the game, which was the 3 by Iggy to put it away.

The entire Raptors team was collapsing on Steph. Livingston made the right pass and i believe you are correct. He could have just held the ball and they would have lost another 3 seconds trying to foul him. By that time they let too much time run off the clock. Should never have let the ball leave Livingston's hands. Its definitely a shot if it goes he’s a hero. If it misses and they find a way to lose he’s a scapegoat. Well, the point is they never got the stop or the ball back. I also believe they had no timeouts at that point either, so had GS of wasted the whole clock theirs a big chance they dont even get a good look.Really? Cutting the lead to 2 points with a opportunity to get a stop to get the ball back is a chance at winning the game.
I'm just saying, they didn't get the stop so they never got a chance. Being technical I know, but it's what happened.Really? Cutting the lead to 2 points with a opportunity to get a stop to get the ball back is a chance at winning the game.
