Rudy T had it right:
"Never underestimate the heart of a champion.."
It aint over, and you may not like them, but dam the Warriors showed some intestinal fortitude tonight.
Boo hoo Jurassic Park.

Danny Green couldn't hit a three most of the night...big difference in the game..

"Right lower leg injury" is code for achilles
Renowned former San Diego Chargers team doctor David J. Chao tweeted about Durant, "KD clearly grabbing at Achilles. Not saying complete tear but that is too low to be called calf. Bad news, his finals are done even if there is a game 7. Good news, should not affect his free agency."

This is what i'm thinking also.

Bill Simmons said he got 17-1 odds on Toronto winning in 5. I bet he is bummed about missing that bet.

Now, GSW can say it wasn't his achilles to begin with, but it is now, to get out of the we were lying the whole time deal. Even though it was and they were.

This series just shows how much GS respected Dame and straight disrespected the rest of our roster lol looks at the defense Golden State is running compared to vs us.

With good reason. Spot on take.

I am not sure if it effects his free agency or not. If its a complete achilles tear he’ll likely be gone all next season. since he’s been signing one year deals, it would change that strategy quite a bit. He may be sort of forced into a long term deal, which may effect what other FA’s do too, who’s gonna go with him if they dont know when / if he’ll ever be the same?

Siakam needs to stop playing like Aminu ... and Danny Green needs to stop being Moe ...
But most of all .. Lowry ... never seen a worst PG playing so many minutes for a contender. Even Kenny Smith (Rockets) wasn't this bad. Give those minutes to VanFleet (aka Sam Cassell)

If teams can throw money at Embiid ... they will still throw more money at KD. No worries about it. Knicks, Clips, Nets ... will take a chance at KD rather than stink for another decade.

This injury sure looked like achilles from the beginning. From the boot and the way Doris was covering it you have to think he ruptured it tonight. We all know that takes the best part of a year to get back from and as much as 2 years to come back from at full strength if ever. I agree this will most definitely have some effect on the entire free agent market.

I'm not rooting for the Warriors, BUT I also don't like when a team like Toronto comes out of nowhere and wins a title UNLESS it's our Blazers.

A team who has never won vs a team who has too much. Easy choice

You may be right but KD is 30 and may miss all of next year (if its his achilles). Its a much different situation now. Obviously teams have money and may throw it at him anyways.

Weird take.

Surprise performances are what make sports fun and exciting.
I know it's weird but if GS wins a title then it's just another one, doesn't bother me. If Toronto wins they get the honor of dethroning the dynasty. I want the Blazers to take down GS, not the Raptors.

I never said it wasn't exciting, just that it's not my team so I don't really care to see them climb a mountain my team can't.

Siakam and Green did their best Aminu-Harkless impersonations tonight...
You gotta think the pressure might start getting a little more intense in game six and if the warriors push this to game seven those two are gonna have to produce or this will be very ugly.

I guess I can see that.

Sports at the end of it is entertainment. I don't really care who wins as long there's some drama and high level, competitive basketball being played.

But I do really like this Raptors team and enjoy rooting for them.
