how the hell did he run back and jump around?
Seriously, why would we help if we get nothing helpful out of it?I'm preparing myself to be very annoyed when the Blazers are involved in helping facilitate a trade of AD to Boston or LAL and the Blazers get nothing all that helpful out of it..
Maybe, but if it does happen at least I'll have the salt prepared.Seriously, why would we help if we get nothing helpful out of it?
You're being salty about something that won't happen, lol.
I know you’re joking but you can still move on a torn ACL, it doesn’t feel great and you don’t have any explosion but you ultimately can still move/jump/jog. It’s just gonna hurt like hell.He only partially tore it. Then while jumping backstage he tore it.
It's the Golden State way.
But you've basically already admitted that you'd be salty no matter what we got if it wasn't AD. I'm just curious why you are preparing us to not benefit from it if it happens? Why would we help them if it doesn't also help us?Maybe, but if it does happen at least I'll have the salt prepared.

I already answered that. If we're involved in a trade that LAL lands AD there is no way the Blazers improved as much in that trade as LAL did.But you've basically already admitted that you'd be salty no matter what we got if it wasn't AD. But that is completely different than saying you're preparing for us to help them for no reason, lol.I already answered that. If we're involved in a trade that LAL lands AD there is no way the Blazers improved as much in that trade as LAL did.
I said nothing all that helpful, not no reason. Sure the Blazers will get "something" out of it, but it won't be anywhere close to worth it if they're making the Lakers get AD.But that is completely different than saying you're preparing for us to help them for no reason, lol.
So you don't think if the Pelicans wanted to trade AD to the Lakers they could do it without our help? We might as well benefit from doing so.I said nothing all that helpful, not no reason. So you don't think we couldn't have that same benefit somewhere else?So you don't think if the Pelicans wanted to trade AD to the Lakers they could do it without our help? We might as well benefit from doing so.
What do you mean?So you don't think we couldn't have that same benefit somewhere else?
I guess what I'm trying to say is I don't want any part in making the Lakers good, or helping them land AD. Yeah they may be able to do it without the Blazers but we don't really know, theirs a chance they couldn't depends on what New Orleans is looking for I suppose. What do you mean?
I mean that doesn't make any sense. It keeps going back to why the Blazers would help if it wasn't a positive move for us.I guess what I'm trying to say is I don't want any part in making the Lakers good, or helping them land AD. I've seen numerous 3 team trade scenarios / rumors of the Blazers / Lakers / NO where AD goes to the Lakers and the Blazers basically get cap space to sign their free agents, and that's about it. I haven't seen a single one that looked like much of a positive though. That would instantly make the Lakers a lot better than they are today and not really do much to make the Blazers a lot better.I mean that doesn't make any sense. Once again, try making sense. Edit: I'm not trying to be rude, it just doesn't seem like your thinking this through.I've seen numerous 3 team trade scenarios / rumors of the Blazers / Lakers / NO where AD goes to the Lakers and the Blazers basically get cap space to sign their free agents, and that's about it. I would have to go look, but I read in multiple New Orleans websites trade scenarios where the Blazers basically gave up Moe or ML and their write ups were the Blazers would basically do this so they could resign Kanter or Hood or both.Once again, try making sense. How would we get involved and get cap space? Like the Lakers are just going to take ET because they get AD?
Oh, you heard it on a Pelicans site! How does that matter?I would have to go look, but I read in multiple New Orleans websites trade scenarios where the Blazers basically gave up Moe or ML and their write ups were the Blazers would basically do this so they could resign Kanter or Hood or both.
What if it was something like this?I already answered that. If we're involved in a trade that LAL lands AD there is no way the Blazers improved as much in that trade as LAL did.
And a little extraOn the real though... I hope Nurk takes all the time he needs.
Probably wouldn't do it, but at least it get rids of ET!What if it was something like this?
POR - Porter Jr
LAL - AD and Hill
CHI - ET and Lonzo
NOP - Ingram, Kuzma, Harkless, 4, 25, LAL Future 1st
Idk man... we’d be better than the Lakers still, wouldn’t be giving up that much either.Probably wouldn't do it, but at least it get rids of ET!
We should get Hart too! What if it was something like this?
POR - Porter Jr
LAL - AD and Hill
CHI - ET and Lonzo
NOP - Ingram, Kuzma, Harkless, 4, 25, LAL Future 1st
Would we? Assuming Lebron's healthy and AD is healthy they'd have the two best players, we'd have the next 4-5 best players, but AD / LBJ would be a heck of a combo.Idk man... we’d be better than the Lakers still, wouldn’t be giving up that much either.
I have a hard time seeing a realistic trade where Portland would benefit from facilitating an AD to LA trade. In that trade, LA gets Harkless and a 25th for Lonzo.Idk man... we’d be better than the Lakers still, wouldn’t be giving up that much either.
Huh?I have a hard time seeing a realistic trade where Portland would benefit from facilitating an AD to LA trade. In that trade, LA gets Harkless and a 25th for Lonzo.
AD is great but he is also injury prone and LeBron is getting older... which roster would you rather have?Would we? Assuming Lebron's healthy and AD is healthy they'd have the two best players, we'd have the next 4-5 best players, but AD / LBJ would be a heck of a combo.
