Yes depth is important but that could be said of almost every team. I guess what I don't get from a national perspective is
why they keep saying we got smaller at SF with Baze while losing Aminu (In addition to Hark) How often did Chief play SF?

The wingspan for both Hark and Baze are the same (7') I would argue that Baze is as productive as Harkless and Mario is as productive as ET. So for me we are no worse off at that particular position.

As far as a back up PG......yes I would prefer having one but do we really ever use them? We seem to always favor a combo guard who can shoot at that role. (CJ and Simons)

I guess it is fair to question Mario, Skal, Simons, Toliver and Gasol for our bench (7-11) But how many other teams have no question marks at those roles?
 
I watch a bunch of college basketball and have NO clue who either of these guys are.
 
Perrantes and Caupain were star PGs for top 10-15 teams a couple years ago. :dunno:
