Arizas like an old Harkless, mediocre offensive player good on defense. Barnes is the best player of the four at least right now. The picks sure wouldve been nice but just saying they couldve gotten these picks doesnt mean that those deals were ever realistic.

Like I said we can agree to disagree, I really like what Sacremento’s doing, you don’t. We will find out if it works out for them or not by if they finally make the playoffs.
Barnes on $20M per is terrible though.

"Lakers lose out on Kawhi...begin painful rebuilding process" https://www.ocregister.com/2019/07/...kawhi-leonard-begin-painful-recovery-process/

"The Lakers have long been out of the hunt for the best free agents available after a brisk opening to the market at the beginning of the week. They reportedly went into free agency with interest in All-Stars Kyrie Irving, Jimmy Butler and D’Angelo Russell among others, should their attempt to add Leonard come up short. By the end of the first day of free agency, all three had committed to other teams. Other potential role players the Lakers showed interest in, including Terrence Ross and Seth Curry, had agreed to deals elsewhere by Monday morning."

They waited on Kawhi while so many of the other players they had interest in went elsewhere. Good job Kawhi! :twothumbs:

That’s why you tell Enes Kanter he has 45 minutes to decide (he says 6).

This is the dumbest tweet I've ever seen. How are the Thunder minus Paul George projected to be better than us next year?

I was listening to the radio and watching NBA TV this morning and nobody mentions the Trail Blazers being in the top 4 next season.

and that's exactly where we want to be. Lillard seems to excel as the underdog, and he will have this team ready and motivated.
Honestly sometimes to a fault in my opinion. Seems like every time the NBA wants to jump on the train nationally he doesn't perform as well.

How the hell would OKC and New Orleans have a better record than us? I swear they troll blazer fans on purpose.

Toronto will not win 44 games

You can read the Forbes article online.

They do mention USA federal foreign tax credit. But the issue is CA. CA does not give a tax credit on foreign income. Since KL bought a $13+ million house in CA, 100% of his income is taxable, no matter where he works.
only if that house is his permanent residence I would think...you have to have your home base in the state...country where you work I believe...185 days a year maybe? I could be wrong about that if California laws are different but I've owned houses in different states and only paid income tax where in the state I'm a resident of....my drivers license...mailing address, etc...I'll check out the Forbes article this eve
