Yet, he's still going to be basically unstoppable as he tosses his bulk around in the paint. Like a much less athletic but better passing late-career Shaq.

I'm not so sure about that. The bigger he gets the less of a threat he is to put the ball on the floor from a point center position above the 3 point line. It could lead to him wearing down before the playoffs too.

I'm not saying he won't still be good but adding weight doesn't add much to his game in my opinion.

The most talented (and fattest) was John "Hot Plate" Williams (his nickname came because there was another John Williams at the time whose nickname was "Hotrod". He was a fave of Larry's Brown's when he coached the Clippers.

Jokic will always be good whether he’s 250 or 350. Too skilled, too smart. Look at Sabonis. Could barely move and was still a monster.
Agree. But he is playing with fire when it comes to his health and longterm sustainability. Big time.

Also, it can't be good for his mobility on defense.

Speaking of tiring and the playoffs, anyone know where I can re-watch the overtime game with the Nuggets from last year?

I hate what they did to Rice. He is out somewhere in Florida still hanging by every little thing that happens to the team-- you can just tell how much he loves following it. Hope they bring him back in some capacity. He was part of what 30 of the 50 years of its existence?

I think it was 25 or 26 years.
