Yeah, the could into the draft for a TE.

I thinking these are the areas of need for our Packers:

ILB (I think they will not re-sign Blake Martinez and find a replacement with better coverage ability)
DT (Need a bruiser here to help against the run game)
WR (Speedy playmaker who can stretch the field)
TE (one who can preferably run block and catch)

They will explore options for these positions via roster cuts, free agency, draft, and trades. It's going to be interesting seeing how they make it all fall into place this season.
I think the packers need one more legit weapon on offense doesn't need to be as good as Adams but good and have to build up depth for their lines. I think getting a nose tackle like you mentioned would be a good play. Also think they really need to consider finding Rodgers replacement Im not sure he’s aging gracefully.

NO, he's not aging gracefully. I was utterly shocked at how bad the Packers played against the 9ers this season; I expected far better out of Rodgers.

Yeah the first matchup (on SNF), fine. But the second matchup? In the playoffs and your defense gets bitch slapped against the run like that? Embarrassing. But as far as the Pack's offense is concerned, it wasn't all that impressive this season. I know folks don't like SAS here (I do though), but he's right. How the hell does Matt LaFLEEEUURR get a HC job when his offense with the Titans was meh at best?

I saw a rumor today, didn't click on the link though, that the 9ers are going to trade for Stefon Diggs at the Draft. That would be interesting.

If Everson Griffen is cut, Seattle better move hell and earth to get him.

If Everson Griffen is cut, he needs to make sure he wears purple for the rest of his career if you know what I mean...... *inserts wink face*
If Everson Griffen is cut, I'm gonna cry.

Take him. He's overrated.

If Herbert dropped that far would you be interested in taking him to see if he can take over for Rodgers in a few years if / when he retires?

5 things learned from Packers GM Brian Gutekunst before the combine

Gutekunst emphasized he wouldn't hesitate to draft a quarterback he liked, and possibly high in the draft if the right one is there, even while he's still fully confident Rodgers has "got a lot left."

There's more in the article. I thought you might like it.

The Combine is this week and we will have a better idea of where each player will be taken in the draft.

With that said, @TorturedBlazerFan , I think our Packers will re-sign RT Bulaga and TE Marcedes Lewis.

Then they will try to sign free agent bargains like the following (with estimated market value according to spotrac.com):
NT - Michael Pierce (2 yrs, $9.5 M - $4.75 M annual salary)
ILB - Joe Schobert or the cheaper option in Nick Kwiatkoski
TE - Not sure if they go after to top options in Austin Hooper or Hunter Henry. They may go with Eric Ebron (4 yrs, $30 M - $7.5 M annual salary). He could potentially prove to be the best value free agent tight end available in March

I think that will give them the upgrades they want at most positions of need while allowing them to go after the best players available in the draft. We should be able to land at least 2 top notch wide receivers, an offensive tackle and maybe 1 defensive player. They may even have a shot at a dark horse QB candidate falling in the draft and into their lap!

Wonder what it would cost to get Emmanuel Sanders to go on the other side of Adams.

According to Spotrac.com, Emmanuel Sanders' Market Value is 2 yrs, $20,040,475.

I am not sure Packers want to spend money for a receiver via FA when this draft is rich with them. They have limited salary cap space this season.

Oh boy, I thoughht it would be like 6-7 a year, 10 a year is probably too much.
