All these Fire threads are getting ridiculous. This isn't' the Fire's message board.
I know we discuss the Beavs, Ducks, etc here as well. But there isn't a new thread for every event/game for those. I think it's safe to say that 75% of the people here don't care about the Fire.

@SlyPokerDog can you keep your bitch on a leash. I asked if it was ok. And to be honest the only reason there have been a few is because they had 6 months of NBA events and action in 3 weeks. From now on there will just be one every month.

At the very least, the Fire are connected to the Blazers. And honestly, we should want all forms of pro basketball in Portland to succeed.
How are they connected to the Blazers besides playing in the same arena?
I didn’t say I didn’t want them to succeed. I want all teams in the area to be successful.

Can someone tell me how the draft and player acquisition went. Are they a decent team?
Usually an expansion team goes through a few down years to get some kind of identity.
What should we realistically expect from the Fire. Any predictions?

@SlyPokerDog I know you will come in at 44-0 for your prediction.

The things i've read so far make it seem like we are in tank for juju Watkins mode.

Expansion teams historically don't do well in their first year anyways.

I am puzzled by draft choices. They were not going to be good but had a chance to get a real star who would put fans in seats and generate TV ratings but did not. I sure hope they know what they're doing.

I doubt any of it will be open to the public, but the Fire have set up their practice facility for the interim at PSU's PSC while they build their one out in Hillsboro.
