6 versus 7 in college draft, and then 2 instead of 1 in expansion

I believe teams can still protect their free agents, because there are designations that come with, think like bird rights, or the franchise player tag in nfl

If I was a fan of a bad team, I would not be happy if an expansion team got to pick ahead of me.

My guess is that they will be bad for awhile. Ticket prices were not as low as I expected. Hopefully get to see them a few games affordably in the 100 level.

So the Golden State WNBA team last year surprised everybody. Saw that expansion teams have pretty rough first seasons overall. I know we don’t know the draft picks or free agents yet, but off of this draft, @crandc how do you see us doing? Impossible to know yet?

So get busy and do your homework, Homey. That's part of the fun of this whole thing; getting to know the players. Back when the Blazers were an expansion team I was only vaguely familiar with one or two of the players chosen in the expansion draft. I had to do the work (pre internet and Google) to find out more about those guys. It gave me more "ownership" and made me an even bigger fan. You have all the info at your fingertips. Get crackin'........
