Didn't we also get Rudy out of the deal, via a trade exception or something? Sure, that fizzled out as quickly as Frye, but it looked pretty good at the time.

with the trade exception we got from the ny deal, dealt it to phx for james jones and their #1 (rudy)

We traded Z-Bo, Dan Dickau, Fred Jones and draft rights to Demetris Nichols (2nd round pick) for Steve Francis (whose contract we had to buy out), Channing Frye, and a 2008 2nd round draft pick.

It looked shitty at the time and it looks even shittier now.

Knicks up by 50. Kings announcers now talking about Elton John and the Rangers.

Duncan supposedly hurt his knee really bad tonight and had to leave. Anyone know what happened?

Duncan down with a knee injury.

I hope the MRI doesn't show anything serious.

Didn't look good.

Dante Cunningham hit all nine of his shots tonight. He would also look good on our bench again... Still appreciate him helping us out in getting Lillard in a roundabout way.

Getting up for 10am battle between Lakers and Pistons. Rematch of 88 and 89 NBA Finals.

I hope he fucked his knee up something good...

Let's be honest here, we're sports fans, and we're not talking about Duncan getting tested for HIV, we're talking about him getting tested for a potential knee injury, after a 14+ year NBA career where he collected 200+ million and will go down as the greatest PF to play the game...

With the competitive nature of the game in mind, I'm actually hoping this takes him out for a while.

That would just mean one less contender in the West... :ghoti:

Bad Karma. You don't want to wish an injury on anyone. Bad. I hope Gasol doesn't make it. Give it to Al Jefferson.

And I don't think that eliminates them from contention. Parker is that good. Pop is that good of a coach. Here's to the Spurs knocking the Grizz out of the playoffs.

Just saying out loud what most fans are thinking right now...

Hell, as a team that's competing for a 6-8 seed, like Portland, this should be good news.

This isn't a head injury or a serious sickness... this is something that will keep him from playing basketball, not living his life. Why should I hope he has a quick recovery?... So the Spurs can keep my team from advancing in the playoffs?

Hey man, I want us to get as many ping pong balls as possible!

It's really kind of ridiculous when you think about it.

bad voodoo to wish injuries on people, aside from being a basketball player, the guy is a human, and has never done anything to harm you (that i know of, maybe he fucked your sister or something)

seems kinda evil to wish pain upon someone though

No Blazer fan would think this, btw. This post just shows it.

We know all about injuries. You clearly don't.

No, you're pretty much the only one.
