In the second quarter of this Heat v Clipper game...... few things stand out. Blake Griffin is a straight up bitch! Bigger and stronger then everybody else and still whines and cries like a little bitch. And did you see Eric Bledsoe swat Wade's dunk attempt???????? Holy shit!

@nbastats: #RookieLeaders (Assists per game) 1.Lillard (6.6) 2. Shved (4.1) 3. Rivers (3.5) 4. Prigioni (3.0) 5. B. Roberts (2.4)

@ESPNStatsInfo: Following their loss tonight vs Mavericks, the Wizards fell to 0-7 to start the year for the 2nd straight season (started 0-8 last season)

@ESPNStatsInfo: Rajon Rondo recorded 32nd straight game w/ 10+ assists, 3rd longest streak in NBA history. Only Magic (46) and Stockton (37) went longer.

@ESPNStatsInfo: The Bobcats improved to 4-3 following their win tonight over MIN. It took Charlotte 30 games to reach 4 wins last season.

@ESPNStatsInfo: Jamal Crawford had team-high 22 pts off bench for Clippers in win vs Heat. Leads NBA with 5 20-pt games off bench this season.

@ESPNStatsInfo: Elias Says the Pistons are the 3rd team in NBA history to start a season 0-8 or worse and get their 1st win by 18+ Pts. http://t.co/8IIHtg26

Agreed 100%. I was saying that nonstop after the Grizz/Clips series, and everyone thought I was just being bitter about losing, but it's true.

It's one thing for Paul to flop and be a complainer. The guy's an anomaly; he's a tiny dude who's still dominant. When he flops, it's frustrating, but I can still respect him, because he's one of the smallest players in the game and one of the best at the same time, despite his height and frame. Occasionally, he needs to sell a call for the ref.

Blake Griffin though, is 6'10", 250+ lbs., yet Griffin is constantly complaining about calls and flopping all over the place.

No doubt that he's a tough guy, one of the strongest players in the league, and all around one of the most physically intimidating people on the planet.

With that said... why flop all over the place and bitch about every other call? It's frustrating to watch. He's more of a woman than Pau on the court, but he's built like Hercules.

Adelman gave Shved two chances to win the game last night, one turnover and one barely-scraped-the-rim fallaway.

I thought that was a photoshop job...... holy shit that's real?

Before the season everyone had the Lakers and OKC as runaway best two in the West. Now it's got to be the Clippers and the Grizzlies. And then maybe San Antonio. Wow - five teams who could genuinely compete for Western champion. Even if we massively exceed expectations, I don't think we've got a prayer of making the playoffs this year.

No, we've got zero shot, so we should be playing our rooks much more than we are.

Who would have thought that MEM would be the best team in the league?

Wow, their floor balance and toughness is unmatched. That is one gritty ass team.

It just figures that Crawchuck would be going off this year. smh.

Well they have one of the best frontcourts in the league with Gasol and Randolph. I really wish we hadn't given away Zach for nothing. It was a stupid move that many of us were pissed about at the time. You don't just give away a guy who averages 20 and 10.

It's unfortunate that the fan base turned on him last year, when really the problem was with how Nate used him. Crawford's attitude plummeted as a result, which didn't help his case.

So: the ex-Blazers team is looking good these days.
PF: Zach
SG: Crawford
PG: Andre Miller/Raymond Felton
Other starters? Martell was looking okay in Washington in preseason, but I haven't checked since.

For those who want Zach back: give it a rest. He was traded so he wouldn't recruit Greg Oden into the Hoops Family. I seriously doubt he'd be as good as he is if he hadn't been traded. He needed to have a fire lit under him and realizing that teams didn't value him as much as he thought seems to have done it. (Kudos for coming back from major surgery, too.)

i wonder if the knicks and clippers constantly lament the fact that they gave him away as well...we werent the only ones

Wolves get Josh Howard for vet min. - everyone on twitter.

I think he'll end up as valuable as Roy this year for them.

@BlazerFreeman: According to reports in Los Angeles, Time Warner Cable has agreed to a deal with DirecTV to broadcast its channel (and Lakers game).

@nbastats: Lillard has been key for POR: In 3 W's, he's responsible for 26.5% of team's pts & 50.9% of POR asts. In L's, those #'s are 22.2 & 34.8%

Probably more valuable - and the vet min is a lot less than $5 million for two years.

Quick you might be able to post this three or four more times before people catch on.

Which means Will Conroy is available!

Sadly, Shaun Livingston isn't - the Wizards signed him.

Which means Jannero Pargo is available!
