I'd agree that the Lakers get some calls, but I'm not sold on that being the reason Harden wasn't getting the whistles. I remember when he played the Grizz this past weekend, that was the same situation.

He got absolutely mauled on two drives in OT by Howard.

I'm good with both of those no-calls. It's a cheap way to get a foul just by jumping into someone. Howard was perfectly vertical on that last one, and Harden just jumped into him. He got him on the arm on the way down, well after the shot, but that something I wouldn't call in that situation, because it was pretty incidental and didn't effect the play whatsoever.

I hope you are right. Maybe some day those no-calls will be in a Portland game.

Its not just that it was the whole pace of the game changed in the 4th.

basically. there will be a lot of Hype....Harden may have one good game, maybe the opening one...but OKC-L*kers in the WCF.

It's going to be a sweep by OKC. 4-1 if Houston can somehow stop Westbrook and Durant for one game.

There were several times I've seen Houston absolutely dominate some teams this year out of nowhere, and they did it with their three point shooting. If Harden, Parsons, and Delfino get going from long range, they can steal one from any team. Of course, still got OKC though...

L*kers in a nutshell:

I think that both opponents and refs have figured Harden out. He really just barrels into the paint and jumps into contact, but more defenders have started just jumping away from him, and he'll just fall on his face without a whistle.

Sounds like Lillard the last few games. Wonder if the refs have started playoff mode early.

I don't understand why some of you are still surprised when the NBA rigs games. How are you not used to this by now?

I'm not surprised, I just didn't think those particular calls were fouls. The Lakers definitely get the benefit of the doubt way too often, but I actually enjoyed seeing guys who like to duck down and barrel in to defenders getting no-calls, and Harden's been one of the worst offenders this season.

Pay Gasol still better than his little brother. They both played big games last night.

Pau 17 pts, 20 rbs, 11 assts

Marc 4 pts, 7 rbs

Marc is not the best anything in this league.
