if you are counting conference/ league championship games, then shouldn't you count the ones they won also?

that would make the blazers 2-3

I only count conference championships when they were obviously better than their opponent. Like in 2000, Portland would have beat the Pacers with little question. Andin the early 90s, everyone knew the 49ers/cowboys was the real super bowl.
