Matthews makes too much for the trade to go through even if we send him alone.

But anyways the idea is to add to Matthews not replace him imo. Either get a guy who can start at SG and move Wes to 6th man or find a 6th man that can help the 2nd unit and take some minutes off of Wes.

I don't think Matthews is a long term solution.

Probably not as a starter but he sure is as a key bench piece. Remember, he was brought here to be our super-sub 6th man. Time to return him to that role.
