Maynor for trade examption is fucking BEAST!!!! Wow OSHley you be pimpin'

So does that mean Maynor went from Utah to OKC for basically nothing and from OKC to Portland for basically nothing?
I remember a lot of posters on this board going on about what a steal it was for OKC and how smart Presti was. I guess we will all see.

It's being reported as no pick going out, just a trade exception for OKC.

Nice deal by Olshey.

For Oshley it's a great deal. Our TE expires after today. It's a win win because we can easily renounce or resign him and wont even lose cap space (unless we resign)

Maynor has potential. He will be getting legitimate minutes now, also.

It will be nice seeing someone other than Nolan or Ronnie out there. Now to replace the rest of the bench.

If healthy and he can return to form, he's exactly the type of guard that Lillard needs to play with.

Yeah I'm really impressed with this deal. I mean it's not one that completely moves the needle; but it's a chance to take care of a pressing need without having to sacrafice too much. Also, this gives Oshley more room to find that starting center.

I really have a feeling that maybe, just maybe, we get Lopez!

The Thunder are getting Ronnie Brewer from the Knicks after this deal.

What on Earth makes you think that?

What was his injury, when did he return, how long was he out?

Torn ACL.

He came back a bit ago, but just took his brace off last week or so. It's been a little over 13 months now since his knee was injured I believe.

As far as not moving the needle - if healthy, I disagree.

This is the best our PG situation has looked in a very, very long time. IF he returns to form.

Well if you think it can move the needle; than it's a for sure thing. He didn't rely on athleticism as much as most PGs in the league. He was just a solid "heady" player.

Adrian Wojnarowski@WojYahooNBABlazers will send the draft rights of Giorgio Printezis to the Thunder as part of the Eric Maynor deal, source tells Y!

Wow he is just now coming back after 13 months? I agree he looked good before his injury, but will he have enough time to prove he deserves his qualifying offer? He is worth 3 million if he comes back the same. We may have to gamble and assume he will.

So Felton got us Maynor. There was good in suffering through last year. We got Dame and Maynor out of it.

I'd say filling one of our biggest needs (backup PG) moves the needle. Not like signing an all-star center or anything, but definitely moves us in the right direction. This really helps us in the off-season, if we feel that he is in fact truly healthy. Fills a need, at the least.

3 MIL is not really much. Probably worth it either way unless he is out of the league bad.

Uh, no.

Come on!

The 22 y/o Kostas Papanikolaou is the most productive youngster in Europe right now.
