C for a year or 2 (until Kaman really falls off). Then B for a year or 2. How would we not have money on bench in A though?

Hypothetical enough for you? :)

How is this possible? I assume Aldridge will be involved in this deal; which is 14 mil. So he is basically the equal trade for Lopez. What do you expect Millsap to demand?

I want to see more legit rumors in this thread instead of a bunch of fantasy dream trades.

Just bored. I would think he will sign for 10-11 per. Giving us an additional 5-6 mm

Option B.

Hawks play the Heat at home tomorrow night. I'm curious to see how much Smith plays.

A, with Jefferson.

Lopez a little bit better than Jefferson, but his rebounding numbers are underwhelming and I'm still not sold on it being purely him, and not playing with Deron/JJ.

Still curious about Portland playing with the offer for Bynum. It's a huge risk, but if that kid was healthy, we would be in a perfect position to contend. Still I have big big doubts this kid will ever be healthy.

that would be one of the stupidist move this franchise ever made, Bynumb and his attitude and knees? FUK NO

@ anyone who bumps this motherfucking thread with another motherfucking idea and not a real rumor.

But seriously....

Hickson has really upped his value this game. Hopefully we get something thursday

People need to get realistic with their expectations for 20 year old project centers. He was drafted knowing that it would take a few years before he was good. What is so hard to understand about that?

Without looking in to it myself, I know others have raised the question, but how many "project" picks in the lottery like this work out?

Why restrict it to the lottery? Plenty of players are picked based on potential. It's a risk/reward thing and every GM knows it.

Should guys like Andrew Bynum, Javale McGee, Larry Sanders, Andre Drummond, Josh Smith, etc. not be picked because they were a work in progress?

Orlando is desperate for the #1 pick. If they make that trade with Milwaukee and get a 1st, plus there first. They could be loaded in a couple years.

Were all drafted in the firstnround and did pretty crappy there first year to first few. Project big men are exactly that, long projects that take multiple years before you can see if they will actually pay off. Writing leonard off now is way premature.

Don't forget Marc Gasol. He was the definition of a project. We played him in high school a few times, and he'd just sit most of the game because he was so out of shape. I thought it was crazy that he was even a 2nd round pick... that's how much he's "developed."

Does this look like a future All-Star center to you? Haha -

The Denver Nuggets rejected an offer of Brandon Roy and a first round pick from the Minnesota Timberwolves for Timofey Mozgov, according to sources.

The Nuggets are motivated to trade Mozgov, who will be a restricted free agent this offseason and is unlikely to be retained.

Minnesota wants to include Roy in a trade because he is not expected to play again and his 13-14 contract is non-guaranteed.
