Man this guy really screwed us. I wish we traded this dude when we had a chance. He just straight lied to us
We get it Tunchi, you say the same exact thing in every single post. Why don't you weight in with something that's not pessimistic and depressing?:goth:

I just love how the media gloats and profits over our misfortune...It's disgusting really....

I wonder what Olshey's doing? I could see him trying to sign someone big along with LA. While LA's being courted, Olshey tries to grab someone to play along with him. But who? Doesn't sound like we have a meeting with Jordan. Is Monroe the best he's got? I would assume Olshey is going to be aggressive at midnight tomorrow, and not just sit back and wait. Will be interesting to see if anything leaks early...

Woj just said Blazers are still in it. And what he gathers from his sources, its between Blazers and Spurs..thats it
Olshey is also one of Woj's biggest supporters/whisperers...it's all just smoke screens. July 1 can't get here soon enough, just get it over with.

I don't think we're going to hear much about what we're doing aside from the obvious options (like Monroe, who we pursued last season).

This has turned into a complete shitshow, if it ends in Laker and Rocket fan tears, it may almost be worth it.

IF Aldridge were to come back, who do you think they would be able to add to LA, Dame and a plethora of young, lottery talent?

:matrix:

What if aldridge takes a two year deal with the spurs? He has to know pop and Duncan are retiring soon. Right?

Still feels like a cheap way to get a ring. Especially when the blazers could still contend with him.

I think Aldridge is all about security. He understands he can make more if he has a year or two, but he's also seen careers end right before his eyes.

He seems very calculated, so I would guess security is more important. He will give up 27 mil for the Spurs because they maybe able to win a title. He will choose us because we will still be good and can offer an additional year

Watch Olshey come out of this with Aldridge and Cousins as teammates

Tim Duncan was a hero to him and Tim Duncan stayed with the same team his whole career to be the best the Spurs ever had..Lamarcus can only do that in Portland. Loyalty plus 28 million and an extra year

I really hope he does. He has an opportunity to have his number retired in the rafters, while havin his name in every record on the Blazers. I know he's a stat guy, so that's a plus

I think legacy is underrated as a motivator for a guy like LA. He's not an instant gratification type or a short term gambler

If he stays, his number is guaranteed to hang in the rafters. His name will be on almost every statistical record in Portland.
