How the hell is it okay that the Niners can’t challenge those two calls though? It’s absurd to have penalties like that decide a game in 2023.

So bright side on this.
Niners should and can use this as a wake up call. If you go into another teams stadium you need to play better. leave no chance for a loss. Plenty of mental mistakes were made throughout that game.
Also Shanahan needs to come up with a way to keep that offense moving without Debo.

Losing CMC was a much much bigger loss than Deebo.

dude. the refs had it in for the Niners. You won’t hear me disagree. Niners got hosed. Took some big momentum and opportunities away. The league needs to fix the shit that was exposed during the game today because it happens more often than is openly discussed.

That being said, most teams that get hosed don’t often have their destiny in their own hands, the Niners still did, and they failed.

Rookie kickers..... not a good idea to have a rookie kicker when you're trying to win a championship.
 
I don’t think I’ve seen this many mistakes in a weekend of football in a long time?
Coaches not taking sure points. Records set in penalty yards. Now you got a professional team that didn’t call a TO with 5 seconds left on the one yard line? How does that happen?
Missed field goals and teams making boneheaded 30-40 yard plays when they need a first down?
Weird weekend for sure?

And another missed FG after throwing the ball and stopping the clock for the Giants. What were the Bills thinking?

True but it’s easy to be money when your team is crushing everyone. Much harder to be money in a close game or when it’s up to you to win the game.
