Found this little guy in my backyard yesterday. I think it is a Cuban Gecko.

Do you have any more of the desert like this? I've never been anywhere like that before, it's cool to see it up close and in standing perspective like that.

I actually want to go to Philly some day just to get a cheesesteak. Is Geno's the one that has the sliced beef or the one where they chop it up on the grill?Got some of Philly's finest today on the way to the arena!![]()

Geno's has the rep, but I can honestly say I never, ever had a bad cheesesteak in the two months I spent in Philadelphia while in the navy. And cheesesteaks were an virtually a daily part of my meal plan. They were everywhere. The closest I have ever found in PDX is the Broad Street Bomber at Shut Up And Eat.I actually want to go to Philly some day just to get a cheesesteak. I've actually heard there are places other than the two which have a better cheesesteak, but those ones are definitely iconic.
I've been to a couple around town. Steakadelphia, Steak your claim, Big Al's, Cheesesteak Nirvana. They were all pretty good actually. Big Al's is closed, but it was probably the worst of the 4.Geno's has the rep, but I can honestly say I never, ever had a bad cheesesteak in the two months I spent in Philadelphia while in the navy. Big Al's wasn't too bad. They definitely got the cheese right. I've always wanted to try Steakadelphia, if for no other reason that it has survived a surprisingly long time in a less than favorable location. I haven't been in awhile, but Philadelphia's used to have a very good cheesesteak. The menu just wasn't varied enough for my wife.I've been to a couple around town. I am not an expert on birds but this one caught my eye on a boat trip.

The best food deal in Vegas (imo). Ellis Island BBQ (it was like 12 bucks) and can feed two easily.
