Our neighborhood boys winning the 'ship last week. Watching them and my son all play together in hoops and football since they were knee high has been a wild trip. very proud of these kids.....3 friends of mine that I went to Grant with have kids on the team as well, so that made it extra special.

Just down the street from one of my favorite hamburger joints (Stanich's) as well as not too far from where my dad had his shop as he was on Cully just north of the cemetery.

lol. the hood? I grew up going to Grant and a lot of my friends lived in the Beaumont area and they were far from "in the hood".

That's pretty cool. When I was at Grant we beat Madison one year for the state championship and then lost to Benson my junior year in the state championship after beating them 3 times during the season including the city championship.

My first road trip by myself out of high school was to the Big Easy...great city...I wanted to see Louis Armstrong play trumpet...didn't get to but what a city...got to see Dr John and the Meters though
